World Vision? Seriously? That sounds really lame...

Just made a mistake, the company was called "World Events Productions" actually. It was done to keep the show going. That's why unlike GoLion, where Zarkon and Lotor were killed in the end, they escaped and went into exile vowing revenge in Voltron.

It's VegettoEX's evil, sideburnless twin with a goatee, VegerotEX! :D Goatee inspired by Tanooki Kuribo (who I hope doesn't mind.) Evil tan inspired by Tullece, as well as red/pink scouter.
...

Awesome-ness.

Darn it, though... you beat me to making a joke of this sort...
Yeah, I would've done that if I wasn't so lazy.

Great podcast as usual, by the way.

I laughed out loud at Julian's 4Kids bit.

My roommate probably thinks I'm retarded now.

Well, back in my country when i didn't know nothing about Dragonball Z,however I knew about Dragonball. I bought a spanish copy of the Future Trunks tv special from spain (shame on me). An i discovered the other side of the spanish dub. Most of the names were keep the same in the aspect that they try to pronunciate the japanese names with spanish accent, i thinks it sound funny but cool.
One example is Son Gohan, it is translated as Son Go Anda (yes, they always keep the "son while speeking"
However the spaniard translation of chala-head-chala is aweseome :D 8)
I aim to misbehave

Haven't been replying to these threads in a while. I thought I might as well since I do listen and enjoy them every week.

Ah, now all we need is the people who did that really old English Dragonball theme and we'd be set. (Which one did that, by the way? The one so happy it made small bunnies and puppies drown in the cute of it all?)

LMAO..there's nothing wrong with you Tanooki. It's good to have a good laugh every now & then & that just took the cake (I think I found my new wallpaper  ). Kirbopher's art was nice too. On a side note, "Tatsunoboshi Horoko", the company you were referring to that wonderfully fantastic DB theme song was "Harmony Gold" I believe. They're now more known for their Robotech distributions.

There should be a Dragonball Z 4Kids-style fan project.
What's scarier than a DBZ H-game?

I smell April Fool's Day 2k7.

Of course, it wouldn't work on us, now.

Every time any of us see the Budokai 3 cover (or original Japanese cover), we are all gonna just picture Vegeta eating an ice cream cone and Goku topping him off with his spinkle attack.

About the new original video game idea you guys were talking about this week. I was thinking once that it would be cool if they remade the Plan to Destroy the Saiyans as an adventure game with the same footage for one of the current consoles.

Also, yeah, Vic Mignogna is a really cool and nice guy. I also had the pleasure of meeting him once.

Speaking of references, can someone explain that whole "pokemoney" reference? I don't want to laugh at something until I get the whole joke.

Maybe FUNIMation and 4Kids can work together and translate the DBZ/OP Gum Gum Kamehameha Movie.
