Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

We have been introduced to Kaioshins with questionable intent in DB Super. I figured that maybe we could look back into another saga and come up with an explanation for Majin Boo's evil. Pure Boo was simply... well, pure, and he had been tainted by innocence and lost power with Dai Kaioshin, when the southern one was either suppressing him or giving him power. I don't care, I just want to discuss where the evil side of Majin Boo came from, because Pure Evil Boo was the spitting image of the fat one, but he never returned when Innocent Boo was pulled out, so maybe South Kaioshin Boo was another version of him through his absorption's viciousness and malice. When you look at the chain of events:
Pure Boo + South Kaioshin = S.K. Boo
S.K. Boo + Dai Kaioshin = Majin Boo
Majin Boo - Evil power = Innocent Boo
(Pure Boo + Evil power = Pure Evil Boo) <- headcanon
Pure Evil Boo + Innocent Boo = Evil Boo
Evil Boo - Innocent Boo = S.K. Boo
S.K. Boo - South Kaioshin = Pure Boo
(Innocent Boo + South Kaioshin = Majin Boo) <- headcanon
Notice the consistency between the blue and red highlighted parts. South Kaioshin would make S.K. Boo from Pure and Evil Boo, and his evil would make Pure Evil Boo from the Majin one, who turned into Innocent Boo. What do you think?

Whenever it comes to Buu, my estimates have always been based around Mr. Buu being all of Grand Kaioshin and about 50-90 percent of the South Kaioshin's power, and Evil Buu being all of Kid Buu's power plus some of South Kaioshin, whatever number it ends up being, because South Kaioshin most likely was not 100 pure like Grand Kaioshin was said to be (not evil at all, just not pure in the Dragon Ball definition of pure). In my mind, whatever impurities he may have had went to Grey Buu along with a smidgen of his power. I liked it because it helps settle any confusion or arguments about Grey Buu not being Kid Buu and all that.

I feel like people complicate Boo's forms. It all makes sense, if you ask me.
The original Majin Boo, that's Kid Boo, Pure Boo, whatever you want to call him. He was the embodiment of pure evil and chaos in the universe. Meanwhile the Grand Kaioshin was the embodiment of pure good and joy.
The combination of the two created Fat Boo, a creature equal parts good and bad. However, with Fat Boo, good was dominant. Evil Boo/Super Boo is the same being as Fat Boo, but with evil in control. That's why the good and evil aspects of Boo separated, evil won, and then they refused with evil now dominant.
Pure Boo/Kid Boo reappeared when Fat Boo was removed, thus removing Grand Kaioshin and reverting him back to that pure state.

Nobody has complicated... I used all forms and returned them to what they were, which is more than just describing them in linear sentences. It's kinda like a magic trick where you must return the thing that went missing. Plus, you missed South Kaioshin, so it can be described as simplism. Use the names from the
guides as the convention, please. Calling Pure Boo the embodiment of pure evil goes against the purpose of having another Boo with that name. I want the possibility of South Kaioshin being less than pure discussed.

South Kaioshin gave him rationally.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I'm just about done with the concept of reboots and making shows that were products of their time and impactful "new and sexy" and in line with modern tastes and sensibilities. Let stuff stay in their era and give today's kids their own shit to watch.
I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about
your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

Rationality, huh? Perhaps that explains why Pure Boo thought that absorbing Dai Kaioshin would be a great idea. It was a plan for the greater good that tamed the animal instincts, and gave him the intelligence to fit with the others. More so than that, he helped populate the Earth with his own offsprings, in DBO by reading a few books.
