Who would personally not want as a boyfriend out of all the male characters in Dragon Ball? I bring up this because I came across this article which asked people in Japan which fictional male characters they would hate the most to have as a boyfriend and guess who topped the list? Go ahead, just guess.

Beerus, he's just way to cranky and hungry for my tastes!
When Super apparently shoves Goku down our throats:
Spoiler:
HeroR wrote:The characters in Super can work with Goku and they're treated like equals to him. Goku just being in the room doesn't take away from the character. In Z, the characters were so depended on Goku that they couldn't go an episode without mentioning him in some way even by hoping he will arrived, get better, training to get stronger, our last hope, being like him, ect. Goku was wanked to hell in Z, even when he wasn't in the room and everyone else was secondary to him. In fact, this was a major issue Goku had, which is why he didn't want to do anything in the Buu Saga.

Tenshinhan is even less romantically driven than Goku, and that's saying something. So probably him.
That said Goku and Vegeta are both awful choices too for totally different reasons. Goku's thoughtless, forgetful and unromantic, Vegeta's got a hair trigger temper, acts cold half the time towards you and won't hug your child for the better half of a decade.

1. Goku (Universe 7) has eliminated 6 competitor & Vegeta (Universe 7) has eliminated 6 competitors
Honestly anyone aside from Goku/Vegeta, and maybe Tenshihan, would be good boyfriends. And uh...does Piccolo count? He's Namekian and they're asexual so...
Gohan, Krillin, Yamcha, adult Trunks and Goten...they all seem like they would be caring husbands/fathers.
Tien is by far the worst as he's so emotional detached from anything outside of fighting that you would not get anywhere with him (just look at poor Launch)
Yamacha is a good guy at heart but its clear that deep down he's a bit selfish and can be thoughtless. He's probably one of the closest being what a lot real life guys are like.
Goku is almost as bad as Tien but he dose show love for his family its just that fighting is just as important, so unless he is really needed fighting takes front seat. That and the poor guy is so dim when it comes to such things.
Vegeta oh boy.....bad boys are hard to read or judge, not all are scum bags but not all are rough diamonds either. They can break your heart or be mister perfect, the problem is its not easy to tell at the start.
Frieza seems like he'd be too high maintenance and a paranoid control freak. Plus he dose seem like the "leave me and I'll kill you" type.
Cell....the guy loves himself more then he could ever love you...
..That goes for Zamasu to.
Beerus...not to bad if a bit grumpy but a boyfriend who could be willing to blow you up when in a bad mood early on in the relationship should be treated with caution.
Goku over Luffy? Wow, I think thats completely unfactual lol. Anyway, I'm straight but I don't think any of the main males would be good boyfriends. Krillin and maybe Whis on the other hand seem like thoughtful partners though. I wonder how Colonel Silver as a boyfriend would be lol, or Tao.
Lol Goku winning that rank.
Japanese fans are forgetting the time he left Gohan behind at the lookout to spend alone time (days) with his wife before Cell Games. He doesn't deserve to win that rank. Damn Super, what are you doing to Goku is worse than what Dragon Ball Evolution did.

I don't think Super has reached Ukog levels, maybe Gouk that sometimes becomes Goku, you must not forget Goku being pissed at Black and Zamasu because of what they did to Chi-Chi and Goten.
I'm just a DB fan that's in the grey area that exists between an Hardcore Fanboy and a Casual

The episodes I most like in super are those I can recognize the characters, despite the story making sense or not. Sometimes I get to see a bit of Goku in DBS, even all of him when we get a good portrayel, but for the most part there's an imposter Goku there. And it's him, super Goku, that's having an impact on what the fanbase views him like, especially new fans and a big part of them whon't bother looking for the original series to understand the charaters. DBS pass as canon for the fanbase, DBE not.
To stay in topic, others characters I'd hate to have as boyfriends are Roshi, old Kaio and Oolong, all monsters type as well. Cant believe I forgot to add Roshi, he'd must've been the first to be cited

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke
Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

Because having a nee-chan isn't enough dammit. We need the full package.

Bacterian and Goku
I don't know if Tenshinhan liked Lunch but if he didn't thats a reason why he doesn't care
as for the other ones, Bacterian explains itself and Goku just think about fighting strong guys, its like having no boyfriend
Sleeping until the tournament is over.

Imagine if DB started these days. It would go like this:
"hey, what's happening in Dragon Ball today?"
"Goku wants Mutenroshi to train him, so he's bringing him some chicks now."
"oh i see, just slice of life filler then. skippable. "
Being a male and all I would rather not have any boyfriends..
I really can't say for certain what females find attractive in a guy ( to me all of us are just hunk of muscle physically, nothing sexy about it )
So Who I would like the least as the boyfriend of of a female friend of mine would be bacterian..
That's a guy who will kill you in your sleep, by many ways

Anyone outside Gohan, Krillin, and maybe Future Trunks is a no-no.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I'm just about done with the concept of reboots and making shows that were products of their time and impactful "new and sexy" and in line with modern tastes and sensibilities. Let stuff stay in their era and give today's kids their own shit to watch.
I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.
