Could Krillin's Kienzan cut through #20's absorption circled palms?

I honestly have no clue. Hmm... I think in the Budokai games, Gero can absorb it (when the function was added).

I like to think ki constructs are different to standard energy attacks. In this case Maybe the kienzan will dissipate, but the absorption jewel is destroyed.

Well, in games kienzan cannot be blocked, so I would assume it can cut through

Unless he has the reflexes and ability to catch the disc mid-air between his hands and absorb it that way then I can't see any other way it would work. Gero would probably have tested this theory out beforehand just to be sure. If it didn't work he'd just program them all to avoid the disc entirely which would be easy enough since the Kienzan isn't a homing attack like Freeza's.

I think so. Like someone else mentioned he can do so in Budokai and Kienzan is a pretty impractical move as well.

Gero was absorbing Piccolo's energy but did nothing to his clothes (aka, the energy constructs created by his Clothes Beam), so maybe the Kienzan still would slice through.

It is and isn't, I suppose. The Daizenshuu 7 entry for it goes out of its way to claim Piccolo's (and Kaio's) usage of materialization isn't inherently magical. At least, not compared to other users of the same object-producing technique. It's still considered a basic type of magical ability in-universe anyway. Interpret that as you will. I'm assuming it's simply conveying the notion that he can easily peform it; He's a natural at it. Perhaps his reincarnated Namekian typing is making up for his inability to craft Dragon Balls unconsciously like God could?

The Kienzan is still Ki, so no I don't think it would.

I figure Gero or #19 could absorb a Kienzan, but they could also get their hands cut off by one if they slipped up just a little.

They'd have to "catch" the attack to pull it off, and it's a much smaller target than something like a Kamehameha or one of Vegeta's big blasts. If they saw it coming then sure, but if they were caught off guard then... well, hey, Krillin just beat the Androids (possibly with some help from Piccolo to pummel the newly-disarmed, no-longer-absorbing #19 and #20 before one of them can run off and activate the others.)
