Why so many filler episodes now???

In super there were mostly 3-4 filler epsiodes but now 8-10 so is there are reason why??? Maybe the next arc will be longer? a Higher budget for animation??
or because to many new character designs?

What do you think why???

The next arc cannot be small, it has to at least bigger than ft arc.
It has to have many fights too, so animation is on a high need..
It's good they are giving filler episodes, which are enjoyable too..

They must need LOTS of time to make sure the next arc is right and has good animation and is just the way they need it. They might have ni=ot started animating it because the trailer from last week only has MAnga shots from the Universe Survival arc.

Also it wouldn't be smart to start a new arc at the end of the year, when the current tv season is finishing and viewership tends to be lower. It's not a coincidence that the U6 arc started almost at the same time, in late January.
