Would you like to see more real life martial arts?

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Would you like to see more real life martial arts?

I mean besides maybe Tien most of the characters are throwing the same kicks and punches with no varities in their basic fighting styles.

Personally I would like characters using different types of hand to hand combat based on real life martial arts like Muay Thai

I sure as hell would. I loved Goku's one-inch punch in the RoF movie.
I wouldn't count on it though. Since that'd require Toei to put some actual effort on the fight scenes.
The fight choreography has been downright terrible in Super too.

Of course
Tien was a martial artist at everything, his moves were and are devastating and not simple stuff a brawler does
Goku had a free fighting style, he adapted to the fighters around him, presumably because of his Saiyan nature
Krillin was a skilled fighter, he adapted tremendously according to human standards
Piccolo was a demon, he faught like one, and that was destructive
Roshi was a master, his experience showed in every fight

Now what they do? Throw random kicks and punches which is really sad to watch, especially since Its so damn easy to counter them! Even satan level fighters can counter their fighting styles right now if he can see him that is, power behind the attacks don't really matter to a certain degree..
Not saying what they showed in Dragonball was pure martial arts bit it definitely had bigger involvement..

Duh, it's a martial show the choreography as of late has been crap, I would definitely like to see cool moves like they had in the Early Dragon Ball movies.

Yes... I miss when Raditz showed his Muay Thai.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

Hell yeah. I mean, this is a franchise that is solely built around fighting. :P
