The most popular movies are Fusion Reborn and Broly.
You see quoted BOG nowadays by kids that never watched the early ones, is a false positive.
The most famous couple is Goku - ChiChi, then Bulma-Yamcha.
I learned english listening to songs. So I don't know anything about. The day you had to learn play piano by just listening .mp3, you'll understand.

I think Vegeta could possibly take the character if it's just the west. Or at least his fans were the most vocal back during Z.

You've almost got it, except RoF is as popular as BoG and Broly's first movie is about on that level of popularity.

Goku & Kamehameha belong to the 1st 2 category

I always felt Broly & Cooler films to be popular af. Like it was standard-bearer, sets the template for a cocktail of sporadic humor, plot & buildups ib 1st Half with good ol' epic brawl in the 2nd which became a formula for every DBZ film (with BOG being single exception, much to my disliking)

I think DB & Z to be most popular series, while even GT is (thanks to the tag DB-its naturally popular :D )

I think Frieza & Cell Arc to be most popular Arc

Most Popular Manga Villain is Frieza, without a shadow of doubt while Anime gotta be Cell/Kid Buu

As far as Movies go, Broly is most popular baddy

Most popular Episode.....pretty much every goddamn Episode with Goku & Veggie being badass (Oh wait, thats made up the whole Kid Buu Saga, so guess that goes into Most Popular Arc)

Most popular movie ? Broly's 1st movie, that movie is so popular that Broly could have his own franchise at this point.

Most popular villain ? Freeza.

Most popular couple ? Vegeta and Bulma.

Most popular episode ? Z 95, the Ssj concept is now the face of the entire frsnchise, you think DB, you think Ssj, a new arc or movies is announced, we wonder if there'll be a new Ssj form and if so how it'll be.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.
