Where do you buy your DB merchandise?
I've bought almost all of my manga volumes and some figurines from an awesome comic book store called Warp 1 near my house, and when I visited London, I got a t-shirt and a Piccolo figurine in Camden Market. I'm not sure where my keychain and straps came from because my mom bought them for me.
If HMV was still open (which it sadly isn't anymore) then I'd buy the DVDs from there once I had money.
Where do you guys buy your stuff? Online? Any specific store?

I got my Vizbigs from Amazon, mostly second hand. Some as cheap as 2-3 bucks. Toys and miscellaneous usually come from ebay.

In the past, I've usually just gotten my stuff online. Amazon, eBay, y'know, the usual stops. I got my GT Bricks and 3rd copy of Raditz from either Walmart or Best Buy. I guess I don't really have a specific place.

Re: Where do you buy your DB merchandise?
The first ever Dragon Ball merchandise that I ever owned came from a store called Suncoast in a mall. My parents got me VHS of the original Dragon Ball series. My first Dragon Ball related DVD (Path to Power), I got from Virgin in NYC. From there, I got some boxed sets from Suncoast and F.Y.E. Then, I got the first orange brick from Virgin in NYC. And after that, I got all of the singles from eBay. I collected a few of the steel books and orange bricks from Best Buy, but quickly switched over to Amazon. Since then, I got everything from either eBay (Dragon Boxes, etc.) or Amazon (mostly pre-ordering things).
My parents picked up the Japanese version of Final Bout and Greatest Legends in a store in China Town and I got the Japanese version of Ultimate Battle 22 from an E.B. Games (shocking).

Re: Where do you buy your DB merchandise?
I've bought all of my DVDs/Blu-rays at Amazon and Walmart. I usually use Amazon for the DVDs that Walmart doesn't have. Lately I've tried to find FUNi singles of the movies at pawn shops and swap meets. Not that I can't buy them at online. I taught that maybe there was a chance to buy them locally for much less than what people ask on eBay. I figured that I should of at least find one but I've haven't had any luck. I'll keep looking.

I get most of my Dragon Ball shit from Amazon in the recent years. Prior to that, I was gifted most of my Dragon Ball stuff by my parents.

Re: Where do you buy your DB merchandise?
Comic book shops and a bunch of anime shops around town usually have figures and such and of course the Manga! and I use eBay/Amazon too.

Re: Where do you buy your DB merchandise?
I could probably count on 1 hand the amount of actual merchandise I have, lets see here...
- Dragon Ball 3-in-1 volume 1 from Waterstones (I've since decided to not support this release, instead I hope to collect the single volume editions of DB but I don't know when I'll get around to actually doing that)
- Jaco The Galactic Patrolman manga I got from Waterstones
- Battle of Gods & Resurrection F blu ray both from Amazon
- Got a t-shirt with some of the characters on it at MCM comic con in London October last year (it's not the sort of thing I wear outside so I only really wear it in bed)
- Also got the first Dragon Ball DVD volume from the same convention (it's the Manga UK release it's basically the same as the American blue bricks)
- And most recently got the first Saiyan arc volume of the Dragon Ball Full Colour release when I randomly found it in WH Smiths (I hope to actually continue supporting this release!)
So yeah most things I get I usually default to Amazon nowadays, so when I get around to buying the rest of the DB single volumes and full colour volumes I'll probably get them from there.
also I probably won't be getting much more stuff from this series in the immediate present since I'm low on money and also I have like loads and loads of other manga series I'm reading at the same time (Berserk, Planetes, One Punch Man, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Attack on Titan, Tokyo Ghoul, Assassination Classroom, Parasyte, Naruto, Hunter x Hunter etc), and Dragon Ball doesn't usually take priority because I know the story already. (currently I'm thinking of getting the Rurouni Kenshin manga volumes that go past where the anime ends, which is easy to do for Hunter x Hunter as well cos there have only been 2 volumes of that so far that go past the 2011 anime's ending)

Re: Where do you buy your DB merchandise?
Are the HMV's closed where you live? As there are still some around in Birmingham and they are online. They don't have much db merchandise anyway. Most of the stuff I have got is from Amazon, eBay, CD Japan. I have bought most of the manga from Forbidden Planet and my games from GAME.floofychan333 wrote:I've bought almost all of my manga volumes and some figurines from an awesome comic book store called Warp 1 near my house, and when I visited London, I got a t-shirt and a Piccolo figurine in Camden Market. Yeah, HMV is closing in Canada. It sucks because that's one of the only places you can get DB stuff in my city. There's good DB stuff in Vancouver but that's a 12 hour drive from where I live and I can't drive yet.AD93 wrote:Are the HMV's closed where you live? Barns and Noble for the manga, Amazon for everything else.
