How Powerful Do You Think Majin Gohan Would Have Been?

Gohan, if he had been the one to have become one more of Babidi’s Minions, instead of going along with Vegeta in canon, just how much more of a powerhouse would he have become?

If we go by Great Saiyaman/Early Buu Saga Gohan..i'd say he would be weaker than Mystic Gohan, above SSJ2 Majin Vegeta, but SSJ3 Goku would still beat him.

Probably somewhere above SSJ1-SSJ2 Gotenks after training level. Given the strong emphasis Elder Kaioshin put on his ability bringing the recipient's power up above its limits, I think the Majin charm isn't quite so thorough, even though it's also raising a person's power beyond limitations.

No one around Gohan would be able to stand up to him, not even Fat Buu. Depending on whether he can fight the mind control effects, Gohan would either be the end of Earth or its hero once again. Just to have a chance, Goku would have to force Vegeta to fuse with him or hurriedly train Goten and Trunks to use it in the ROSAT.

The Majin boost isn't that great even in someone with as much strength & latent power as Vegeta so it may be only somewhat greater for Gohan if his frequently-referenced potential is taken into account; I could see a hypothetical Majin Gohan being on par with Majin Vegeta, maybe a little stronger than Majin Vegeta at the most.

Babidi's magic doesn't unlock power "way, waaay beyond your limits" the way the old Kaioshin's ritual does, so he'd be weaker than Ultimate/Mystic Gohan for sure. Beyond that it's hard to say. He'd at least be brought back to the level of strength he had as a raging SSJ2 kid at the Cell Games, and chances are good that he'd rise past that level... so stronger than Majin Vegeta, at least.

I can't really see a hypothetical Majin Gohan being much stronger than SSj3 Goku, though. Certainly not stronger than Super Buu, even if he does surpass Goku's level.

Because it dies draw out some potential just not as well as Elder Kai.

And he has bags more of it than Vegeta.
