Would Piccolo Daimao and Garlic Jr have gotten along?
Would Piccolo Daimao and Garlic Jr have gotten along?
Both demons that have a grudge against Kami. Would the two of them have been friendly if they met?

I know the current Piccolo and Kami are inextricably linked, but would that have also been the case for Piccolo Daimao?
What I am getting at is the team up, if against Kami, wouldn't be beneficial for Daimao if Kami is necessary for his survival.
That being said, a road trip with Garlic and Daimao to Namek for the dragonballs could've been very entertaining

Considering that they both want to be the sole ruler of the world, I doubt it.
Cool stuff that I upload here because Youtube will copyright claim it: https://vimeo.com/user60967147
Re: Would Piccolo Daimao and Garlic Jr have gotten along?
Garlic Jr seemed content to preside over the world on a lofty post that is Kami's palace. Piccolo Daimou was more of an earthly autocrat who interacted directly with the people he was imposing himself upon. Going by Piccolo Jr's exasperated confusion as to why Kami had entered the tournament, I think it could be argued that Daimou was at least tolerant of Kami so long as he didn't interfere in his destructive campaign across the planet -- such indifference could have also been the product of comprehension that he wouldn't be able to do anything to Kami, though. Also their mutual lifeline to each other would have complicated any efforts to usurp the other.
How Garlic Jr differs from Kami is through his desire to corrupt the citizenry of Earth through the Aqua Mist. No doubt Piccolo Daimou was aspiring for a similar result by abolishing civil governance and instituting defacto anarchy for everyone. Garlic Jr was hoping to bring everyone under heel as subservient subjects of his "demon clan", however. Daimou likely intended for every human to be exterminated regardless of how detached they became from their conscience. It's in those key aims that I see Garlic Jr and Daimou differing from one another. Plus, the idea of Garlic serving as a more proactive overseer of the planet would likely see him coming into conflict with Daimou anyway.
In the end I see Garlic Jr having Piccolo Daimou executed or, at best (if you want to call it that), turned into a subservient pawn. Daimou presents too much of a liability to Garlic's ambitions to be allowed to continue with his escapades unabated. Plus, the Namekian's shared affiliation with Kami would likely taint Garlic's impression of him anyway.

Hell, add Lord Slug in there to make a villainous trio.

Piccolo Daimao would be mad as hell at Lotd Slug for copying him.Melee_Sovereign wrote: Mon Apr 13, 2020 10:20 pm Hell, add Lord Slug in there to make a villainous trio.

Haven't we already gotten these in GT? Goku dies, the DBs go away, and the Namekian DBs most likely won't be used again because of the Evil Dragons.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

Piccolo Daimaou didn't seem like much of a team-player. Garlic Junior outright tried to kill the reincarnation of Daimaou, too. Something tells me neither of them would get along.
