Languages on that shonen jump app

So I hear you can read the whole manga or shonen jumps app or whatever. How does language work. If I wanted to pay and read it in Portuguese could I? Is there a toggle or does it depend on IP or payment method ?

I use the official Shonen Jump app on Android, and it's only in English. In fact, it's not even available in the Italian Play Store at all, and I had to install it from an apk.

With that said, it still works just fine, I even paid to unlock the non-free chapters a few times (e.g. when I wanted to read Naruto or when I wanted to reread all of Dragon Ball), and it actually displays prices in euros, so it's not like it's hardcoded to dollars.

But yeah, it's only in English, which is actually good for me because I like to practice my English (and because Italian translations are usually crap), but I can see how other people might prefer to read in their native languages.

Like, legit, it's really funny that in my country they display it with my country's currency, yet they only cover it in a few countries that isn't mine. Its pretty weird but also sorta cool that Viz at least allows their library to be viewed even outside of supporting territories with the app, and you don't need to go through the hoopla of a VPN to even give it a shot (though going to shady APK sites isn't exactly ideal).

Hopefully Manga Plus could follow suit, though it'd be pretty confusing if Viz operated subscriptions for both Shonen Jump and Manga Plus at the same time.
