His voice reminds me of Takeshi Kusao’s. He definitely knows how to emulate the style of the Japanese battle sounds.

Another recast, this one's kinda weird.
Maksymilian Bogumił returned as Yamcha but in today's episode, he was voiced by Mateusz Kwiecień.
Kosmowski says that Bogumił stepped down from the role and couldn't be convinced to come back.

The dub seems to be a bit of a mess.

Maybe he got tired of playing such a loser lol. I still wonder why Tohru Furuya hasnt called it quits.

This forum is so over-dramatic that it's not even funny.

Yamcha is not a main character in DBZ so no big deal in my opinion.

I'm very sceptic about Polish dub, it's mostly bad and cringe, but this Trunks sounds good. Reminds me of Takeshi Kusao too, and that's very good. Emulating Funimation voices was always a backwards evolution of dub in Poland.

The Funimation dub was not considered at all when casting. Every actor was picked based on the Japanese version.

Then they did a terrible casting job for most characters m

I have to disagree. I really can't image them sounding any better, for the most part.

Well, the legendary SSJ scene has aired yesterday:

Any thoughts? For me, it was okay. The grunts were spot-on but the scream could have been a bit more powerful.

This isn't directly related to Kai but Super Hero came out on Crunchyroll today and it has the Polish dub and subs. It's the first ever anime on Crunchyroll to have Polish as a selectable language.

This is also pretty important since this was the only Polish dub for a 2022 theatrical movie that hasn't left theaters.

Not bad but that "Khhh" was really annoying.

Super Hero is still screening in Poland?

No. I meant that this was the only dub that wasn't released anywhere outside of theaters.

Fair enough, I was just intrigued having read your message, but I realize now I misread it. Apologies for my ignorance.

Gero sounds good but I don't know what I think about 19. Honestly I prefer other dub voices for both but Gero is good.

You got your wish. He voices #16.

That's great. It's about time he showed up in the dub.

It may not be his first anime role (because he already showed up in anime dubs like Sonic X and Megaman NT Warrior) but I'm glad he finally got a role in Dragon Ball.

I hope Anita Sajnóg shows up as well, maybe in the Buu Saga because the "new" characters in the Android & Cell Sagas already have established voices from Super, unless... there's another recast.
