The Municipality of San Antonio from Peru has informed on their Facebook page that "Z Park" was conceived with the intention to boost tourism in the area and the objective of family entertainment.
Here are some photos:
What are your thoughts about this, guys? Do you want to go someday?

I'd love to go, and Peru would be a far more desirable location than Saudi Arabia.
One thing I don't understand is why it has to be called "Z Park"? Wouldn't the organizers want to appeal to fans of the entire franchise (not to mention Latin America didn't skip 140 episodes of the original series before Z). I also assume with the Super Saiyan Blue statues the park is being built with Super fans in mind too at least.
Another thing that would be neat is with global superstars like The Weeknd coming out as fans of the franchise recently I hope someone like him would be willing to perform at the opening ceremony for one of these parks. Although that may be out of the question due to budget. And yes I suspect there are more celebrity Dragon Ball fans out there we're not aware of yet.

I personally think it is great that is being built in Peru. It is like a second home to me since I've got family there (My mom is Peruvian) and I've been there twice for vacation.
My uncle Richard (He loves Dragon Ball a lot) must be in shock right now

I guess they thought "Dragon Ball Park" or "Dragon Park" would be generic, so they came up with a name that could still be associated to the franchise.

Well isn't Z the most popular DB brand, even in countries that got the original DB first?
Agree that would rather visit Peru than Saudi Arabia.

That last one of Cell wrapped in plastic looks like he just regenerated his entire body.
