Looks like SupaChronicles translated the article, there's a LOT to unpack here...
Not here to derail the thread, but regarding the planned Dragon Ball theme park, why is it being constructed in Saudi Arabia? [censored] I wish this would be constructed in my state (Florida), Japan, or even France.
I've been regretting this post recently, because I now see the sentence (replaced with "[censored]") in the above post as political dissent/criticism, and due to the fact that criticizing Saudi Arabia is illegal in Saudi Arabia. I didn't care about the broader worldwide politics at the time this post was made.
I've now been making sure none of my recent posts express any political dissent.

The name "Daitouden" ("大闘伝") is derived from the word "Butouden" ("武闘伝"). "Butouden" is taken from the names of Dragon Ball games that use that word (the Super Butouden games for the Super Famicom/Super NES and the Sega Saturn exclusive Shin Butouden). The name ("Daitouden") replaces the "bu" ("武", meaning military, martial) kanji with the "dai" ("大", meaning big, large, great) kanji, forming the name "Daitouden". "Daitouden" literally means "great fighting legend" or "great fighting story".
It's comparable to the origin of the name "Nintendo" ("任天堂"), which is derived from the phrase "Leave luck to heaven" (「運を天に任せる。」, Un o ten ni makaseru). In a literal sense, "Nintendo" means "Temple of Heaven Under Duty".
Yes. I was a dumb 18-year-old when I finally joined in 2009 after lurking for 5 years. I was even stupid during my 20s too. Me in 2016 vs me in 2026 are different people.
I joined Kanzenshuu in 2022, but I started posting here in 2024, in anticipation of the then-upcoming Dragon Ball Daima.
I forgot to mention that I've reported the post, as well as messaged the moderators via PM, to edit it to remove the political dissent/criticism content.

What does not being allowed to criticize Saudi Arabia have to do with you, when you are from the US and why do you care so much?
I’ve looked back at some of my older posts and honestly, I cringe at a few of the things I said. But that’s just part of being human — especially when you’ve been on here for over twenty years like I have.

My posts here have always been pretty normal. After all, I joined quite recently.
My earliest posts on some other forums, though, are a completely different story. I could barely speak English 25 years ago, and I can't deny that I was bad on top of that. I've been banned from several forums, and I deserved all of that. Still, it saddens me how I'm never going to have a second chance to participate into those communities. Sure, I just admitted that the bans were deserved, but permanent bans are stupid, in my opinion. People change over two decades, I know I did.
