Just saw this, and hadn't noticed it mentioned before. Apparently the second film will see Goku dying (sp?) near the begining.

Makes sense, they'll probably do DragonBall Z in the second movie where Goku dies in the beginning as well as you all know.

Man, I really am not looking forward to this. This movie is in the name of Dragonball for advertisement. It's no where close to my expectations for a Real Dragonball movie.

Now I'm wondering if they'll even bother bringing in Kuririn, considering they plan to kill Goku off in the sequel's beginning. And while faithful in that regard to DBZ, it seems to show very little room for Goku to meet and get to know his best friend (assuming he's brought in), due to having to battle the Saiyans the moment he's brought back to life. This is my basic first impression.

It must be that the second movie is going to be the beginning of the Saiyan saga, I would have thought that a whole movie would be needed to do the Namek and Freeza saga just to fit everything in!

It would be so cool if they made a movie for each saga, It would be very expensive but for us fans it would be a dream come true! I can't wait for the Dragonball Movie! COUNTDOWN!

Actually James Marsters mentions that he is only Old Piccolo before his wish for youth in the first movie. He even says he needs to bulk up his muscles for the next movie, so the sequal could very well be about Piccolo Jr.

It's like when people ask why I watch more anime than cartoons from other countries - it's not that I hold Japan above all others (like, "all hail great Nippon!"), it's just that Japan's got a pretty good track record for having things I like.

I've heard about the sequels through that newspaper article from Mexico a while back. I'm kind of afraid for Vegeta.

Scratch that; I'm really afraid for him; I don't know how anyone will be able to pull him off in both acting ability and physical attributes.

If Superman can get beat up by the likes of Sub-Zero and Scorpion due to magic, wouldn't the magic of the Dragon Ball world affect him as well? Bah, I'm going semi-off topic.

I find it a bad idea to have left Kurilin out of the first movie. I mean, he was a very pivotal character in the series' early years.

No doubt in my mind that that it'll be of the Saiyan saga, that probably means that we'll be able to see a live action kid Gohan, Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz.

That picture also pissed me off, how unrealistic of a depiction. These Superman fanboys have probably never even seen DBZ, Goku could pawn him in Super Saiyan if he wanted to.

Depends on which version of Superman.

Toriyama made a Dragon World version of Superman for Dr Slump, and was he as strong as Goku?....not even close.
