Capsule Corporation history?

I decided to get back to work on my DB wiki, so I'm looking for more information on Capsule Corporation.

Daizenshuu 7, if I remember correctly, has information on Capsule Corporation and even it's rivalry with the Red Ribbon Army. Does anyone know the details? Or any other, sourceable, tidbits about the company?

Did Capsule Corp. and the Red Ribbon compete in any field besides car manufacturing? Was Bulma's father the founder of the company, or just the head of it by DB?

I know that the RRA was Capsule Corp.'s biggest competitor (they each had roughly 40% of the market, with CC being slightly ahead). I always assumed that the RRA specialized in reverse-engineering CC products and selling cheap knockoffs, giving them big profits they could shovel into world conquest.

After the collapse of the RRA, I think CC expanded to about 60-something% market share. If you can wait a few hours I'll check.

Earth's culture has high level technological power, but the "Capsule Revolution" is primarily given as the cause for technology developing so explosively. "Hoi Poi Capsules," invented by the corporation Capsule Corporation's company president, Dr. Brief, are a technology that stores all objects in small capsules that fit in the palm of your hand. Hoi Poi Capsules, which have drastically advanced portability and mobility, have rapidly made people's lives luxurious, and have opened up the possibilities of future technology.

Dr. Brief's bio from Daizenshuu 7 has some information on Capsulu Corp.'s history. Here's the relevant part:

History: Graduated from the West City College department of science and engineering. He completed his doctorate in the department of science and engineering graduate program at that same college. His major was physical chemistry. He established Capsule Corporation after his invention of the revolutionary item, the Hoi-Poi capsule. He is the current representative director and president of that company. His hobby is collecting dirty magazines. He is the most successful individual in the last 700 years.

Then on page 202-203, there's a two page feature on Capsule Corp., which I actually translated awhile back, but I left the file on my computer back home and not on my laptop. This is the part with the pie charts on Capsule Corp.'s market share in vehicle manufacturing.

For Age 750 (the last year of the Red Ribbon Army's existence):
Capsule Corp. 40%
RR Army 16%
Others 44%

Then for Age 788 (4 years after Goku leaves with Uub; year Trunks defeats Cell in his timeline)
Capsule Corp. 48%
Others 52%

Other random tidbits from these two pages: Capsule Corp. started with the Hoi Poi capsule, but they basically expanded into making things to put inside capsules as well. Vehicles are the most popular thing made by Capsule Corp., but they also make clothing, houses, and electronics (all this we know from the series). The Red Ribbon Army was their biggest competitor in making vehicles, but they only made military vehicles, and their technology was inferior to Capsule Corp. (Toriyama also mentions that their technology is inferior to CC in Daizenshuu 4's vehicle guide). And that's about it.

It's interesting that Capsule Corporation is credited for much of the advancement of human technology in the Dragon Ball universe. I wonder if things were fundamentally the same as our Earth, technology wise, before Dr. Briefs came up with his world changing invention.

Could you please provide a link to your DB Wiki? It sounds like you're really working hard to fill this with canonical information and interesting information at that; and it sounds like a site I would enjoy visiting (and helping you with however I can and whenever you need).
