Vegeta Gives Voice Lessons!
So, I do my weekly search of "Dragon Ball" on CD Japan, and this pops up: "Seiyu ni Naro Voice Acting Studio". It's labelled as some sort of "voice technique instruction" DVD (which may mean either voice acting tips or just how to refine your vocal... shit) and is hosted by none other than Vegeta!
... Or, Ryo Horikawa.
It's 2800 yen, runs 103 minutes and it's out on the 21st January; get spending!

Ah, thanks for the translation. Couldn't find a concrete definition for "naro".Herms wrote:Looks interesting. Seiyu ni naro="Become a voice actor!"

Technically, it should be narou, but they took off the 'u' on the end (they did the same with seiyuu). It's a conjugation of naru, the verb for "to become".The Tori-bot wrote:Ah, thanks for the translation. Couldn't find a concrete definition for "naro".

I believe you might be referring to a video that tackles how they dubbed in voices for Budokai 3.Chuquita wrote:Now that I think of it, there IS something where Mr. Sabat talked about this sort of thing....but I have no idea where it is as I watched it ages ago. ^^;
It was either on youtube or vids.myspace.

It was a video from a Con actually; I have no idea what con, but the person was sitting pretty close to the stage.

Suprisingly, I am actually interested in buying this. Horikawa's Vegeta has been making me fall in love with the Japanese version and he is undoubtebly my favourite seiyu (so far at least). I'll wait for a podcast review or something before I place an order, but I already plan to get some stuff of CDJapan and Mike suggests on the site to "buy in bulk" due to shipping prices, so I can see myself getting this.
