Dragon Boxes for Sale

Post by eienmic » Mon Jan 12, 2009 7:45 pm

Hey all, anybody interested in buying Dragon Boxes? My cousin is trying to sell his DBZ Vol.2. He's asking for $550. I don't know if that's a deal or not. I'm just helping him out by taking responsibility for the sale and banking on my good ebay status and what not.

They are used and they don't come with the collectible figures. What you get are the DVDs, their holding booklets, the *EPISODE GUIDE* and the yellow box to house it all in.

If anyone is interested, drop me a line.

I'll try to get pictures from him when I can. I'll also try to stop by and verify the condition they are in.

I wish I had the money because I would take these for myself, missing figures and all.

Can we see some pictures of what we could potentially be buying?

At that price, I am very interested in DBZ vol.1 and DB. Drop me a pm and we could work out details.

I am very interested in DBZ box 1, as well.
Does it come with the book?

Hmm, no books with these ones? I'd like to have them all be complete, but those DBZ one's are sounding quite awesome right now with that price, but i'll need to see how my money goes first before tossing around $500-$1000.
I enjoy the Dragon Ball original AND Dub, even the VHS Fan-Sub's.

Err, the DragonBoxes didn't come with hardbound books to begin with.

I mean the episode guide thing. In one of the pictures I've seen online, it looks like it's hardcover. My mistake.

Because I am lazy, here is a quote from Kanzentai:
The Dragon Book is 128 pages in length and is closest in size to the B5 paper format (25cm x 17.6cm). The covers are soft, but are very sturdy, being printed on a thick, almost cardboard-type paper, which was then finished with a nice gloss. The actual pages in the book are in full color and are complete with a nice finish (similar to a gloss, giving thickness and durability to the paper). As with most Japanese books, the book is designed to be read from right to left.
Kanzenshuu: Is that place still around?
Sometimes, I tweet things
We might, if they screamed all the time, for no good reason.

Son of a...if I had the money, I'd totally buy Dragon Ball or one of the Z's. :(

Awesome for you. It's completely bunk that I didn't even get the pics I requested to help me in making a decision, though.

Oh well. I need a new computer, anyway.

Correction made. He says he has the guide books. He didn't keep them inside the box but rather on a book shelf with his other DB books. And yes, Adamant has claimed DBZ Vol. 1.

In that case, I'd still like to claim DB if you can give me some pictures.

Damn, I thought it was Z only... otherwise, I woulda said I was interested...
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
I'm tempted to buy DB and Z box 2... but then again... Toei'll surely release a Blu Ray version in the future?
Edit: is the DB box claimed? I really, really want it regardless...
(Z I only want because I have one dvd dammaged... and it's annoying me=

Story of my life. I lose my job, huge sale on something that is still out of my unemployed price range.
