Super Saiyan God is introduced in Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods as a transformation achieved by way of a ritual where five Saiyans with righteous hearts pour their hearts into one other Saiyan, who then becomes a Super Saiyan God. In the film, Son Goku is the first to achieve the form, with the assistance of Vegeta, Gohan, Goten, Trunks, and the unborn Pan.
