Sadly I haven't been keeping up with the DragonBall world these days. Just a few minutes ago I heard about the Kai series here on Daizenshuu EX and I remembered this post I made a while back.

I didn't know Toei visited these forums.

I would personally love it Toei made a new series, GT-movie style, that instead encompasses Dragonball and Z in like 100 episodes. Recreate the series closer to the manga, with fancy computer animation. Add some filler where it seems appropriate (more dramatic scenes). It would be so easy for Toei ...

A suggestion is to possibly remove certian parts of the dialouge. A lot of what is being said by the narrator in the preview part is basically DBZ's version of "blahblahblahblahblah", so maybe if you could splice in the original JP silent parts for those bits, so you'd have a bit less of monster ...

While louder music is a good thing, I think you should try to balance it a bit better. I can barely hear the voices on my laptop.

I turned the music up to an exaggerated level for the preview clip only.. just so the difference could be clearly heard.

The "Season One" English dub with a 4:3 aspect ratio (using DragonBox footage). The 5.1 mix has also been truly remixed to make the music a bit more prominent in the overall dub.

Someone could just sync up Season 1's new audio feed with Dragon Box video using a computer and then you will all have your ultimate dub.

This will be the... 4th English dub of movie 3. XD Seriously, unless you guys have good quality microphones and recording preamps, this will sound extremely generic. Even audio post-processing can't save a bad source.

Has anyone considered the fact that FUNimation might use double-sided dual layer DVDs? That would give them more than enough room to fit all the content they have promised, and at a great bit-rate.

Have you all forgotten Dende's infamous: "Come on guys, don't piss off the god of love!" There had never been a curse word spoken in the history of the televised dub... and when it finally happens... Out of all the characters... It comes from Dende??

I'm still hoping that within the next 35 years or so, some random English-speaking country decides to give their own take on DBZ... and do it right, of course. If not.... once I die and become one with the universe, I'll make sure it happens... but if I'm one with the universe I guess language won't ...
