The OVA has two parts, and you'd have to synchronize them to whatever version you have. Also, whoever subbed this apparently doesn't know how to break lines, so you'd have to fix that, too (use Subtitle Workshop).

But he doesn't know Goku's Saiyan name is Kakarrot... So why would he call him by that name? I mean, he knows Goku's a Saiyan, he knows that his father is Bardock (I'm not sure if he only knows how he looks or what's his name, too), and he knows Raditz, but as far as we know he didn't hear anything ...

Turn to about 55 secs on the timer, it's the only video found searching her name in Japanese.

The breaking pint here is that if Raditz could have removed his tail while it was being held, he would have done so the first time Goku grabbed it. Goku must be referring to the fact that Raditz could have pulled it out, or chopped it off before Goku grabbed it again.
