Haven't seen it on this forum, this looks like Akira Toriyama's character design for Black Super Saiyan Rose, do you know what's written on it?

As someone said, i feel like the reason why the ratings is surprisingly low this week is because most kids wasn't able to watch the episode because they stayed up watching the Trunks Special, which finished at around 11:30 PM.

Oh. Interesting. I didn't know that.
I assumed it came from 'rose', the french word for 'pink' (or the flower).

All the additional effects added to the footage to give a certain atmosphere. Here it's mostly colour gradation so it doesn't look flat.

The filters used for the Ultimate Tenkaichi's intro were quite great:

It would be nice to have something similar for Super.

But... it is in the anime... which Super is...
Of course, but the anime is an adaptation of the manga. It should follow the rules of the original work. And the color changes when a saiyan turns Super Saiyan (or Bluma and Trunks who don't have the same hair color) is not part of the manga's rules ...

The things most people, and apparently Toei don't seem to remember is that when characters turned Super Saiyan, their clothes (and sometimes their skin) get lighter.

Does anybody have the latest volumes? (9 to 12 IIRC) Was there Q&As with Toriyama, once again?
If nothing popped up two weeks after their release, I guess it's because there was only old stuff or nothing interesting. :/

I don't know if it was done on purpose but the whole ray beam scene in Revival of 'F' is quite similar to what we see in the manga during the fight against Piccolo :
