Yup, bootleg - I got those when I didn't know anything about DVDs and stuff. Crappy quality and subtitles... stay away. ^_^

Actually I have that set too, and I think it's the next best thing right under the Dragon Boxes. I know, and agree, that the quality doesn't touch the Dragon Box: The Movies ...

I guess the title "Wrath of the Dragon" is referring to the move Goku uses to defeat Hildergan in movie #13, the Ryu-Ken!!! (or Dragon Fist!), which is the same move he used on Lin-Shenron in the GT saga. A very cool attack IMO. 8) I'd rather the title be "Exploding Dragon Fist!".

For the casual Dragonball fan of course it's not worth it. If you question the price and are debating if its a waste of money (if you can afford it or not) your probley a casual fan. People who have been in love with this show since before FUNimation had its hands on it then maybe this is for you ...

I wouldn't say the animation was on par (obviously it gets progressively better), but it's still a step up from the TV series. I'd say it's on par with the best animated DragonBall episode (whatever you may think that is). I already wrote a commentary for the first movie over on Kanzentai and ...

The fight with Hildergan at the end of Movie #13 looked pretty brutal, especially when he hit Gotenks so hard that it broke the fusion.

I have a Saturn, and I own both Legends & Shin Butouden. I can tell you without any hesitation that Shin Butouden is the best Dragon Ball 2D fighter ever to come out, so far. Get it now no matter what the price is.

Legends is great on the Saturn too, and also on PSX. I enjoyed both versions. But ...
