Perfect is not a word I would use to describe this set. It's a mediocre set at best. Will happily stick with the Dragon Boxes over these.

I find it interesting how the extremely vocal disdain for the 30th on this forum has suddenly shifted into acceptance and apathy. I guess Funimation has finally broken the will of the hardcores.

At least there isn't anyone on here arguing that these are better than the Dragon Boxes like a certain ...

Weird. I dont agree about GT at all. It feels very much like Dragon Ball to me. Especially Toei's version of what Dragon Ball is.

For me, the Dragon Ball story ended with GT. Everything else has just been bonus content for me.

GT just feels more like a natural continuation of the Z anime. I just wish it had gone on for as long as Super did.

Super feels like a standalone corporate product. It has some fun fights, but ...

There is no improvement, these are the exact copies we got for the 30th set.

Honestly if I hadn't been spoiled by the Level sets and Dragon Boxes I would think these looked amazing. Alas, I can't look past the awful DVNR. To me its far too distracting to enjoy these despite the okay packaging. I have the same problem with the Green Bricks, and to an extent the Blue bricks ...

Yup box says 16x9 but that appears to be an error.

They're pretty expensive.. $60 MSRP x 9 is $540. Even if you got em all half off, you're still paying $270, at that rate, you'd have still been better off buying the 30th set since you can sell the extras for a pretty penny.


But the steelbooks are way better looking and safer for your discs ...
