Even though Kai may not be doing incredibly well in Japan, it has been a huge success in the US. I'm sure the people at FUNimation would be very disappointed if they saw it get canceled after the Cell saga.

I had a feeling not a whole lot of thought was put into casting or acting in Final Bout's dub. It felt like they just sort of did it so that there'd be English voices for the characters. I doubt they even put much thought into who the characters were.

Naruto, afaik, is a show about ninjas. It has a far more "Japanese" feel than Dragon Ball.
