Re: Trying to buy FUNi DBOX Vol. 2

Eventually I will sell all of them (I currently have 1, 3, 5, 6, and 7. Holding #4 for someone who wants it.), though I probably won't sell them until they're as sought-after as 1, 2, and 4 are now. But if you are interested in any of them, I am accepting offers :) Just shoot a PM.

I'm highly considering just dropping $80 on the next Box 4 that I see new, I just want to get it and not worry about it going $100+

That's a lot.
Which is why I'm waiting for complete levels. There would be nine of those, the same number as the orange bricks. :)
Ah that makes sense.

Hey, let's not go overboard.
I don't think it's overboard, FUNi has a lot of talented people that work for them. I think the team they have at FUNi are certainly in my book the most experienced of any dubbing company out there.

Re: Question about selling Kai Sets

I myself have some spare Kai part 1 and Kai part 4's I'd want to swap out in favor of Blue Bricks.. Since I initially got all my Kai sets on the "dirt cheap", I'm not sure of their actual worth.

I don't have the blue bricks unfortunately, I'm actually looking into getting them myself.

Re: Episode of Bardock: Giant On-Going Manga + Anime Discuss

Just watched the special. I thought the final scene with Bardock kicking the shit out of Chilled and doing the "Mario-Bowser" tail spin attack was amazing. It was an interesting theory as to how the Super Saiyan legend was born.

If no one else wants to buy the set as a whole then I can sell it to you. Idk what it's worth though.

Question about selling Kai Sets

Hey guys, sorry if this really doesn't deserve it's own thread, but I didn't know where else to put it.

So I'm considering selling off my DVD Kai sets in order to get the Blu-Rays, but was wondering if they would sell or if any of them are "rarer" or harder to find than others.

I have the first 4 ...

Re: FUNimation to put DBZ on Blu-Ray

What I don't understand is why FUNi would boast about their new dub, then just decide to release their old dub again. All this does is give FUNi another reason to re-release these "Level" sets again.
There's a difference in cost between dubbing a 98 episode series, and a 291 episode series.

I ...

Re: FUNimation to put DBZ on Blu-Ray

So, let me get this straight.

FUNi puts out Kai and markets their re-dub (which is a fantastic dub) as one of the main reasons to buy Kai.

Now, FUNi releases 17 episode sets of the original Z series, with picture quality that rivals that of the Dragon Boxes, but it has the old orange brick ...
