One example being Asuka from Evangelion. They say she is Souryu (sp?) Asuka Langley, but we deduce (sp?) Asuka is her first name, so, is she Asuka Langley Souryu? But that is a German name, so, should they use the name-surname way?

.... it's really not "ry-yoo" OR "ree-yoo".. Ree-yoo is closer, but it's just Ryu. Pretend it's one syllable and stop trying to separate the r and the yu. :P It's a bit hard to say at first if you aren't Japanese, but you can do it. Or maybe just try saying "ree-yoo" a lot faster instead of trying ...

Anyway, yes Suzukaze played the "Otokoyaku"(male part) roles. I personally think Mayumi Tanaka(Kuririn) and Masako Nozawa would be great in a production too.^^
