Re: Vic Mignogna

There have been people that got banned after only a few posts in this thread. You also have been here since 2011 so they would be more lenient towards you due to seniority; don't want to lose a long-time member.

This is even MORE ridiculous, and is the sort of paranoid "conspiracy theorizing ...

Re: Vic Mignogna

Is no one going to acknowledge the fact that those that have been skeptical of the allegations have been banned? It screams censorship.

This isn't a publicly-owned forum: its under private ownership. The site's owner can do with it basically whatever the hell he wants (within legal reason at ...

Re: Vic Mignogna

That's because this thread has gotten large enough that questions like "where's the evidence?", "did you know the photos were photo-shopped", and "why haven't more victims reported" are getting more and more silly. You ...

Re: Vic Mignogna

From what I can see, they only got banned after a long period of circular back-and-forth arguments; and most of them didn't have terribly well thought out posts ...

Notice a trend between who is banned and the content of their posts.

Re: The origins of the name DB "Hеrcule"?

Calling him "Mr. Savage" would have been better because it reminds me of "Macho Man" Randy Savage. There are people who's real last names are "Savage," so are kids not supposed to say their own last name because it's "too violent?"

Re: What is Viz's Text Font in the Manga?

That's pretty close, but not exactly the same font. The Viz font doesn't "lean" to one direction as much, and the "G" in Viz looks more like it's drawn in one smooth stroke instead of two separate lines. Thanks for finding one pretty close, though.

EDIT: I believe that I have found the font that ...

What is Viz's Text Font in the Manga?

I've been looking around for a font that looks like the font used in the English Dragon Ball manga, but so far to no avail. Some come close, but not quite. I know it is not Comic Sans or anything else found in Microsoft Word by default, so if anyone could provide a way to get the Viz DB font or one ...

Re: Did Viz Mess Up? DBZ Title Page Confusion.

I was also wondering about another few Title Pages that I'm not sure are swapped or not.

In the Vizbig Editions, this is the title page for DBZ 279:

Is it truly for DBZ 279? I ask because at this point in the manga, many "title pages" are the first page of the ...

Re: Why did D-Box movies 12-13 age worst then the rest?

How exactly does that ghosting effect happen? The only thing I can come up with is maybe the film print from the Gogeta scene was touching the other one in storage and impressed the image on that part. How did this occur?

Did Viz Mess Up? DBZ Title Page Confusion.

Ok, so I was browsing the DBZ manga on some website when I came across DBZ Chapters 15 and 16(Dragon Ball Chapters 209 and 210) and noticed that the title page for those two chapters are switched in Viz.

In Viz, this is the title page for DBZ Chapter 15:

Re: Herms' Huge Project (Viz translation review)--DB vol.5!

I suppose that I could watch the DVDs with subtitles on, though i would have to sift through all the filler.

And don't get me wrong I would rather the official releases by supported. I don't have to distribute any fanslation that I'm a part of. Honestly I'm fine with keeping it to myself, I just ...

Re: Herms' Huge Project (Viz translation review)--DB vol.5!

Aw shucks. I was hoping to get some help on this. I suppose I could just use what Herms posts in this thread if he ever decides to finish the project, though I suppose he won't if he thinks I'll turn his work into a fanslation.

Are there any non-Kansenshuu staff that could help me in this project?

Re: Herms' Huge Project (Viz translation review)--DB vol.5!

I was wondering if Herms or another very reliable translater would want to work with me on a project to give a near-100% direct translation of the original manga, taking out the changes Viz Media made to adapt it and have a more authentic Dragon Ball to read.

My project is simple: A reliable ...

Herms, would you please continue this translation? I would love to have the true word on the whole series!
