True. Anyway, it's his decision, not ours. We don't have to tell him what to do.

If you think that's flaw, compare it to the Madman Australian and New Zealand Season Set releases. They have so many flaws compared to the American releases. Again, I'm not comparing ANY sets with releases from other countries. I'm talking about JUST the US sets. I don't care how Australia or New Z...

Hey, it's a opinion, so calm down. It's because you are comparing them to the Dragonboxes, not the original FUNimation volumes. I never said a single thing regarding the Dragon Box. I'm talking about genuinely being disappointed due to the ACTUAL flaws that exist within the discs. If you think that...

But if you feel as if you want the Season Sets and Steelbook Double Features, go for it, you won't be disappointed by what you purchase. That's a damn lie, as some of us wanted these sets and were disappointed by our purchases. :? Hey, it's a opinion, so calm down. It's because you are comparing th...

Wow, it may seem as if I'm the only one here who truly supports the Season Sets. I personally don't have an interest in getting the Dragonboxes, I love how the Season Sets look. Even though Season One and Two may look oversaturated but I still find it really sharp on my TV. As for the disappearing l...

Yeah, well, if Gen Fukunga (I think that's how it's spelt) never brought the Dragonball franchise to the US, I doubt most of us would ever know about it. I hate it when people say this. Dragonball was always going to make it's way over to western audiences, we don't owe FUNimation anything, all the...

doesn't it make you happy to think that DB is so beloved that it was brought (even if foolishly) to the new generation of TV? No, because it wasn't done properly. Dragonball is and always will be FUNimation's cashcow, it's got nothing to do with love the cropping and bleaching made that clear. Yeah...

But I'm not saying to you don't get it, best to luck to you for getting the Dragonboxes for episodes 01-67. Huh? I already own all of the FUNimation 4:3 single releases uncut and bilingual (for DB/Z/GT), so I'm only looking to buy the Dragonbox singles from episode 27-67 and that wont happen until ...

From what I've seen, Madman's encodes for the singles appeared to be slightly better, not by much though. I wouldn't know. I don't have an interest in getting the Dragonboxes or FUNi singles (I love the FUNi dub but not Bruce Faulconer, so I wouldn't get them), I love the new Season Sets FUNimation...

Me too. From what I heard, the Madman versions of the singles were much better quality than FUNimations, even though there were no subtitles or japanese track on it. I've heard similar things, I picked up all the US singles for the Japanese voice track and subtitles, but I've see the odd Cell game ...

Yes, you are right on that. It just sounded like you were saying that the season sets have more footage than the FUNi singles or the Dragonbox episodes; I think that's how Captain Awesome and myself interpreted it. Yeah that's what I thought he meant. One thing I find surprising about that comparis...

I'm not talking about the Dragonboxes, I'm talking about FUNimations original volumes. You're wrong actually. Even the zoomed in 4:3 single releases as put out by FUNimation have more picture, not less. There isn't some hidden magical footage on FUNimation's cropped masters, we lose 20% of the vert...

Well, even though I love the new 16:9 transfer, I will say that the competition between it with the Dragonboxes is overwhelming. But when you are comparing them to the original volumes with 3-4 episodes, the Season Sets obviously win because the amount of footage being added onto the sides is bigge...

I disagree. I can cope with everyone yelling where they sound constipated, showing the characters yelling with no audio would be just wrong.

Personally, I'm really getting sick of it. At school, whenever people I know talk about Dragonball, they always mention Over 9000. The urge that it's a dub-line makes me annoyed, the fact that it was originally "Higher than 8000!". Damn Brian Drummond and Ocean Dub for that line. Next miss...

In Region 1 of course. Right, which means the only places that FUNi has been able to distribute them has been places like Australia. Actually, I'm not sure if anywhere BUT Australia has gotten them. Australia is not the only place in the world that recieved the uncut version of Saga of Goku, in New...

No one can resist Bruce "almighty" Faulconer. XD I can. Simply because that "music" represents a fake Dragon Ball Z. So with you there. I can't bear listening to Bruce Faulconer's BGM anymore, Shunsuke Kikuchi's will always be the best, the god of Dragonball & Z BGM. Mark Me...

Awesome! Would love to get them but they're already selling the original movie releases cheap in New Zealand.

In New Zealand at any store that sells Dragonball media, I can buy the movies for $9.99 NZD, which is roughly the same price I would pay for these ones.

Madman do tend to fuck up a lot when they're authoring dvd's, but the season set encodes are pretty solid. I know it's your money and all, but it sounds like you're paying a lot of money to import the same product, with very little difference. Nah, only a $20-30 difference, not that big to me. Plus...
