Gast tanked that FF like it was nothing. He's clearly at least x4.5 times stronger than that SPC Jr. who has got to be a low to mid SSJ2 tier (at least). I think it's almost safe to say that Gast is >SSJ3 tier (Buu Saga).

You could also say Vegeta's life was saved when Goku threw the alien frog between he and Ginyu.

I'm sorry but Superman has got the entire Dragon Ball universe licked in terms of strength, speed and durability. I HATE to admit it, but Goku has the best chance of beating the initial Post-crisis Superman or Superman about 10 years or so after he debuted.

Hey, the guys from the last arc get left in the dust by the important characters. That's how the series has always worked. You might as well be complaining about everybody surpassing Raditz, during the Saiyan arc.
