I always felt the Japanese BGM captured the flavor of Dragonball better . Sure you get to hear "Cha-la" re-arranged 100 times over but each time it captures a different emotion. Tha's not to say the US BGM isn't good but It just feels like the Japanese BGM gets over Toriyama's sense of fun and ...

So I've read 2 different things in regards to the opening song:

1. They are re-recording "Cha-la Head Cha-la" (unclear if it is Kageyama)
2. They are giving it a new opening song altogether.

If they are replacing "Cha-la Head cha-la", somehow it just won't be the same...

if a new series is done then it should concentrate on secondary characters. If it weren't for GT i'd say do a show about chibi-Pan with a new supporting cast including Videl, Gohan and Mr. Satan and hell throw in Bra in the Bulma role. Goku should only appear in flashback.

Most seem to share my dislike of movies 4 and 11, though I'm not a fan of movie 8 either as I really think it drags.

My favorite remains Movie 2 for pre-super-sayaijin stuff and movie 7 for Super Saiyjin material. Also I love movie to death as it features the best looking Kame-hame-ha (imo).

The fandom has changed significantly. Ten years ago DB had finished its run, hell at this point it had been completed for 5 months. The Dragonball fans were used to watching either raw Japanese episodes and movies or getting them subtitled through the old network (Chinatown Bootleggers, Fansubbers ...

The disc itself is Tokusatsu themed including themes from many sentai and Metal Hero shows (including some Kamen Rdier songs that Animetal has already covered).

The last bit is a maedley of Jump themed songs (i.e. Shonen Jump)

Ok, just checked the Animetal official website and saw that the 7th Animetal Marathon is due 10/21. How is this relevant you may ask?
