Re: Kid Buu's power?
In the original manga read on its own it's hard to interpret Kid Buu as being the strongest. But now? I definitely think that in the decades since then a lot of stuff has been retconned. Firstly: Goku in the anime itself outright states that Kid Buu is on another level compared to previous boos. Not...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Glad we're getting some namekian lore expansion. It's been really needed ever since the revelation that the original dragon balls were created by the dragon god Zalama and a million questions were raised about how Zalama links to namekians. Let's hope some of those questions are answered.

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
I find it a little silly for people to argue that there's no ambiguity when it comes to the last 3 antagonists' power, while still personally believing myself that Moro > Broly > Jiren (but that they were in the same tier before Moro copied Merus' power). Normally, when a strong enemy comes along, t...

Re: Everything Wrong with Dragon Ball Super
"Respond substantially to my points!" " What points?" "I don't have to do your job for you!" Getting dumber. Your style of arguing where you recap conversations by re-writing what people said in a way that makes you seem smart is needlessly hostile and just annoying to read quite frankly. If your s...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
I'm excited that this arc is looking like it's going to bring Freeza back into the fold. Maybe even Broly (and maybe maybe Goten and Trunks???) I'm hoping that Granola is angry that the gang had a hand in reviving Freeza and thinking that saiyans and Freeza are still a team. Also hyped for Goku Vs W...

I think what would help immensely would be if there was at least one person on Vegetto's side...he got ganged up on so fast.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
I don't know if this has been brought up yet, but I just realised that while Moro was busy eating the energy of countless planets to satiate his apparent endless hunger, Goku, the other character most associated with an endless appetite, completely stopped eating food whatsoever for a time whilst he...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
If Beerus > Goku > 7-3 Moro > Jiren > Belmod, which I admit the latest chapter implies...it means that Beerus is at the level where if Belmod punched Beerus, he'd break his arm even trying, which is pretty hilarious. Who would have guessed that when watching the GoD battle royale where Belmod restr...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
I think it's a totally fair criticism. Cell, Hit, 7-3, Moro 7-3 and (mostly first form) Freeza all have very similar faces with the dual lines running down the cheeks (though Freeza looks the most different with his different nose and lips). With Cell and Freeza there were supposed to be similaritie...

Re: could Quitela be the new Cui?
The scene where Cui has Beerus on the ropes but Beerus taps into UI and stomps him was pretty cool, but it would be a retread if they did that with Quitela too. Beerus also doesn't need two rivals.

Re: The Super Re-Read
It's a really interesting observation that Belmod playing dead during the exhibition match is the same technique U7 ultimately uses to win the whole thing against Belmod's own universe. I remember wondering what that was trying to imply with that, just reading it as Belmod being stronger than he was...

Re: goku never kissed chichi makes sense and consistent with the story
There's no justifying it logically why Goku and Chichi would have never kissed in all the decades they've been married, especially considering that Chichi is something of a romantic person. It's a dumb joke for sure, taken to its logical conclusion it's nonsensical when you think about their childre...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
I presume this as well honestly. I got the impression (in the manga anyhow) the gaps aren't supposed to be massive anymore, but rather gradual shifts toward/surpassing the strongest fighters introduced throughout the serires. I especially got that impression after re-reading all the material from t...

Re: Official Unofficial Power Level Discussion Thread
Can you clarify where Vegeta says he is superior to anyone in the tournament using only his base form? Because I don’t see it. The context was about how the Saiyans compared to each other. Piccolo and No.18 aren’t Saiyans. https://i.imgur.com/doWx7h7.png He is confident he will win the tournament a...

Re: Why do so many people dislike GT Pan?
It's totally different to how she was at the end of Z. She seemed to be much more like Goku in personality, loving fighting and having loads of potential. In GT she takes a lot more personality cues from the worst traits of Bulma, and her role is often that of a damsel in distress.

Re: Zamasu, The Super Dragon Balls, and The Zero Mortal Project
Yeah, Zamasu is all about arrogance, extravagance and theatrics. He also could have wished himself to be unspeakably strong but deemed it more poetic to take over the body of who he thought was the strongest mortal.
