In Dragon Ball Z, Goku can teleport to the universe of the gods and could visit heaven anytime if he really wanted. So what does dieing mean to Goku now? I just say Cell supercharges the sun with enough energy to make it go Supernova and the Supernova effectively takes it out over time. Either that or Cell has enough energy to destroy the cumulative mass of the entire Solar System.
