I almost bought season one and two on a whim today at Wal-Mart. I'm glad I had enough sense to check prices on-line before just acting. Seriously, I was excited to see it because I'm missing these episodes in my FUNimation DVDs.

Now I just read in this thread that they are widescreen, naturally ...

There are a few subbing groups that do HP! material. But I don't think Hello! Morning is their main concern. As it was, even putting a script out seemed to be too much trouble.

I was thinking some you may want to see Masako Nozawa appearance on Hello! Morning. She's on about 15 minutes; airing 2007-03-18.

This was honestly the first time I heard her in person. I'll have to admit it was a little strange hearing Gokuu coming out of an older woman. ^^

Ripped laserdiscs don't look half as good as dvds. I'm a consistancy freak and just want an official r1 Saga of Goku release.

I tried to sell as many as I could before they made it to the states. I still have episodes 1-29 of DragonBall and that's probably the bestfansub to have at the moment. (ep 1-13 probably won't be seen here on dvd....ever)

I forgot about my dubbed DBZ tapes from Mexico. I use to record them off of Telemundo. I gave those to my cousin ... might have to ask for those back because I actually enjoyed watching this dubbed version. I don't think they cut too much out, if anything, and they kept the music in tact!

I meet new Japanese friends all the time through Japanese Maple Story (free on-line rpg). One thought Dragonball AF was real, thinking it was just a American spin-off of Dragonball, comic/show. He thought it was strange seeing pictures of Kullilin as a SSJ ... and couldn't figure out why he would be ...

I sent all my dub tapes to a fan of Dragonball in Japan because he wanted to see the American show. In return, he sent me a bunch of Dragoball crap, from all the movies, cards, books etc. etc. After I sent him 4 tapes of the dub ... I never heard from him again. :lol:

VegettoEX has a great idea! Listening to the Japanese audio track through his iPod. Brilliant!

Just don't damage your earsdrum trying to get the iPod to overide the theatres speaker volumes.

I have all of DBZ except "World Tournament," none of the Buu saga, like two of the Ultimate Extreme whatever edtions. Those are more than I want to spend right now.

I thought it was in stereo. I have it recorded straight from the VHS masters, no subs or anything ... sounds stereo to me.

I found it going through a JPoP forum. It reminded me of Goku as a child ... and his fondness of eating. Look at her cheeks!!!
