Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

Ran Fuan is way too small; her punchs hurt Namu; In addition she managed to dodge a serious attack of Namu.

The distance between Goku and Namu is too large. They had a fight pretty evenly, with Goku winning in the details.

Did Videl even get stronger by Gohan's training? i think she just learned how to control her Ki.

Too big the gap between Goku and Namu; If Namu were 87.5% of Goku the latter would pretty much dominate the fight, but they fight pretty evenly.

Roshi stronger than Goku? By a 9% gap? no boy... They fought almost evenly, and seemed even Goku had the advantage in a few moments. You don't put to sleep a weaker opponent. They must be equal, or maybe Goku should has the edge.

If you train your Ki you do get stronger. I personally have her at that level but she could easily just increase a couple of points and not even reach BoD Goku.

I see what you did there.

This is what I have for the 21st Budokai contestants (based on Begining of Dragon Ball Goku being 10)
Son Goku - 65
Muten Roshi - 62 -------> 93 (bulked up) -------> 186 (Kamehameha)
Kuririn - 44
Yamcha - 31
Namu - 58
Giran - 36
Ranfan - 6(I just can't see her beating BoDB Goku. Do you think she could pick up a car?)
Bacterian - 15
Mr. Satan - 6.66(I couldn't resist)
Videl - 8 -------> 12

Since the majority of fighters at this point can't use Ki(and those who can are limited to using basic Ki blasts), power levels aren't that big of a determiner of how someone performs in a fight. It comes down to power, speed, skill, and unique characteristics, among other things. For example, Ranfan was only able to compete with Namu because of her using sex appeal. But if she went up against someone as naive and clueles as Goku, she would get knocked out instantly.

Fix'd.

Also, Ranfan used her sexuality to make Namu drop his guard. Trunks sent Fat Boo flying with a kick, does that mean Trunks' anywhere near Boo's strength? I don't think their fight was meant to be taken literally.

Yup, the Grand Elder said it while reading Kuririn's mind. I take it as an evaluation of it's potential.
Even if he is a prodigy, the Nameless Namekian didn't have any training partners or great methods that we know off. He's like Goku; from a strong race but without the means to achieve all he could. Plus this was 300 years ago.

well, Broly was born with 10,000 and at 30 years old he was stronger than Freeza by far, and Nameless Namekian was about 20 when he landed on Earth, so I just take it literally. The rest of the numbers are fine, though I would put Gohan a little lower than that.

It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke
Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

I went to check the quote of the Great Elder, I misremember it. Here are both the quote of the Grand Elder and Nail:
So it appears that without knowing of his training in Kaio, the Grand Elder believed the Nameless Namekian to be strong enough to defeat Vegeta.
Nail after feeling Piccolo's newfound power, thought that if he joined with Kami he might have defeated the Freeza who dominated him; meaning First Form Freeza.

From all this it appears to me that, how strong the current parts are is of great importance. 300 years ago, Piccolo Daimao and Kami should haven been around 200 - 500 in power. So going by this I would have the Nameless Namekian at 1.800 - 2.600. Seems the better guess.

Same power as an average Warrior, who are supposed to be stronger than the Dragon Clansmen, so you're probably right.

Why, certainly my good man. :)

I'll, in fact, go a step further and give you a few pre-21st TB numbers for reference.

Start of Dragon Ball:

Son Gokuu - 12
Yamucha - 10
Kuririn - 9.5

21st Tenkaichi Budokai:

Son Gokuu (with tail) - 23.5
Kuririn - 18
Nam - 21
Giran - 14
Ranfan - 11
Bacterian - 11.8
Yamucha - 15.5
Jackie Chun - 23
-Max Power Kamehameha = 300+

As you can see in the above list, Chi Chi isn't weak at all. She is in fact physically stronger than any 21st tournament participant. She just didn't train with any Gods. As for Yamucha? No. No he's not anywhere close to being Kuririn's equal. I may not be the biggest Kuririn fan, but damn it, he's not Yamucha!

Interesting, I guess your numbers don't contradict Piccolo Daimao statement of using less than half of his power against Goku.

Nope. I designed them not to.

For the record:

Son Gokuu (22nd TB) - 45
