Would Piccolo sacrifice himself for Goten?

I guess I'm in the minority here with thinking that , yes, he would. Then again, I also think that the majority of the older warriors would do whatever it takes to protect the younger ones. I can even picture current Vegeta doing it. And another reason, Piccolo might not care for Goten as much as he does for Gohan, but Goten being Gohan's younger brother probably places him above, for example, Trunks on his list of people he would do everything for. At this point I think he counts as an extension of the Son family, he might even do it for Chichi.

Now that's a funny scene to imagine.

The egg incident ? Everybody kinda did.

But as I said ,at this point I meant with what we've seen in DBS. Chichi drags him around for shopping, she mentions he eats at their house often, he babysits Pan. No one will probably trump Gohan as his favorite, but my guess is that he is closer to the other Sons now than he was before.

He probably would just because that's how he is now. Like people have already said, he won't do it for an emotional reason or connection. I believe he would do it so the future Z fighters don't die.
