Wikipedia Dragonball Z page overtakes dragonballz.com

Post by EricM » Thu Mar 01, 2007 10:12 pm

A Google search for Dragonball Z now yields Wikipedia's page over the official dragonballz.com website: http://www.google.com/search?q=dragonball+z

I find this mildly amusing.

Yeah but if you ever been to the site it has a lot less information Than Wikipedia. Hey Funi! Goku marrying Chi-chi is not a spoiler if its shown in the before the series ever started!

I think it's cause I'm logged into the Google network and I enabled that improve-search-based-on-my-search-history thing. That must be it.

Sorry for the false alarm.

Similarly, MSN Search lists funi's site first, and Wikipedia third- below Newgrounds. Yeah. Who uses MSN Search anyway?

-edit-
Hohoho. Wow, This is how bad MSN Search is:

I have a little website - so niche that it's not just about Dragon Ball and Role Playing - but Dragon Ball Role Playing. It's small, incomplete, and hasn't seen a real update since July. A Google search for "dbz rpg" nets a result at the bottom of the ninth page - just below my DeviantART page.

MSN Search for "dbz rpg"? First result. Yeah. I'm flattered, but that's just wrong.

I dunno what's worse. Wikipedia's DBZ sections, or FUNimation's. Both are literally clogged with stupidity.

Maybe we could add the "miserable failure" keywords that're on the George W. Bush results to the FUNI DBZ ones.

I know this is a dredging an old post...just wanna say on behalf of non-stupd wiki DB editors (as was said above) we're still fighting the good fight!
To show my appreciation, I'll only beat them half to death.
