I can tell what's going on! Happiness ensues! :D

And just so I'm not confused... are the pages that Toyble has released without gaps now? (Like that gap before 56 I recall reading about)?

And I think it was mentioned before... but Keroni... ur... however it's spelled... yeah, Mr. Satan's pupil from the Cell games? With the roses?

Those new pages are awesome ! O__O
The stroke of Toyble is really nicer, and the characters' postures are great ! Great job.

Gohan: Gaaaah!!
Haah!!
Huff... Huff...

Trunks: Even Gohan-san...turned into a Super Saiyan 4?!

Xicor: Hah!

Vegeta: Ghah...Cough...
Gaa!!

Xicor: Hurry up and come at me, Son Gohan. Or do you plan on watching from there until this one dies?

I'm pretty much agree with everyone of the story being...meh. The way Toyble draws is so strikingly similar to Toriyama's past DB style, it's amazing. Sure most people can easily copy Toriyama's style, but not this well. I'm hoping for that translation soon.

Using Tatsunoboshi Horoko's translation, I've started putting the text on the images. How's that so far?

The artwork is excellent. If I were just starting to get into DB, then I'd be convinced that this manga is part of the series. The bad guy doesn't look right though.

Thank you very much Desire. I appreciate your work on this project. As well as the one who actually translated.

Did you base that on the old Page 8 and 9 translations I did? Because there were a few lines that I missed in those.

These should be correct.

Page 8

This is the college in Satan City...
Orange Star University

Gohan: R-Right, the academic conference tomorrow!
Gohan: I’m a little indisposed at the moment...!
Woman: E-Excuse me...
Woman: Professor...?
Gohan: You see...about that.
Woman: Professor Son!!
Gohan: Could we handle this later?
Gohan: Oh—Sorry about that!
Woman: Um, well, it’s already time for your lecture...
Gohan: Ah... (*Nudge*) (*Stagger*)

Page 9

Woman: Eeeek!!
Gohan: !?
Gohan: Urk...
Woman: Pro-Professor!!
Gohan: T-The lecture...
Gohan: I had forgotten.
Gohan: I sure wish I could focus solely on my research.
Gohan: But that’d be impossible...I’m the only one in the family that works...
Gohan: Right then, let’s begin.

This is kinda why I wanted to do them myself, because then I could do the correct dialogue edits. But it's okay, I guess. ^^

Actually, you did pages 7-10 twice. I did those pages with your initial translations first, then went back and changed some of the text where it felt more appropriate.

If that translation is the best, I'll go back and change it to that (when I get home :P).

In fact, if anyone sees anything I could do to improve the pages, please don't hesitate to post it. It takes twenty minutes or so to get a page done, but once it's done it's easy to change text :D

This is just personal opinion, but... use Saiyajin, not Saiyan!

You forgot to say this is your personal opinion, like mine is all for the original name.

Yeah, the translations based off me actually seeing half of the text are the more feasible ones. :)

Also, if I may suggest, you may want to take care of the text that goes off the bubble and into the panel itself. Like where Cold's "revenge" slips off the text bubble. (I believe that either squeezing the text slightly or reducing the text size will make it fit.)

That's one of the problems I'm having. Because it's such a small page, making the text any smaller makes it almost illegible. I changed that text around a little and it seems to fit better (though I still think it looks 'off')

I wanted to ask everyone's opinion on sound effects. Should I (1) leave them unedited at all, (2) note their sound or function (ie: 'ga-n!', 'thud', 'faints'), (3) translate all 'bubbled' sound effects as per speech, but note all others (leaving the intended graphic in place), or (4) replace all sound effects with English text.

There are legitimate reasons for each choice, and all have pros and cons. Thoughts?
