Seriously though, the opening and endings for the Hebrew version that display the Nick logo get me even more hyped for an eventual possible airing - especially since I'm hoping Funimation dubs the openings and endings (some say they won't because they haven't been able to with One Piece, which is a Toei production like Dragon Ball Super).

Hebrew version of Ending 2 on Nick (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPaarbVaNUk)

Hebrew version of Ending 3 on Nick (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKXyPOMER2I)

I'm sure they wouldn't have the Kung Fu Panda/Monsters crap that no longer even airs on modern day Nick for the U.S though, but it still excites me for the new generation of fans and the fact that clips of DB Super scenes of the Hebrew version of Nick are now on YouTube gets me more hyped.

Some things for edits and other stuff. I put spoiler tags because it was getting too long

1.
Because some kids haven't seen Z or Kai, I was thinking of FUNimation making a recap episode summarizing DB and Z, or they could add the Battle of Gods series recap as an extra to explain what happened before.http://youtu.be/1lEfHC07MZI
2.
This is sort of for the uncut version, but FUNimation dosent need to have tons of swearing. This show is more for kids, so for example, only say "Damn" if the Japanese one says "Kusso". And the Nick one can get like dang, darn, etc. And for Freeza in Hell after dying, how about saying Freeza died and went to the underworld.
3.
Market more stuff for kids. Not just Hardcore Anime Otakus. Kids would love trading the DBZ cards that I always see at Target. The manga! (Censored Manga) Dragon Ball Fusions! Dokkan Battle, The toy line that Bandai got!
4.
When my 10 year is sister watches Nick, they say God, people Die, and there are tiny bits of a blood. For the little bits of blood that Super has, they can get by that. And there isn't any certain company called 4K!DS that needs more edits.
I'm pretty certain it'll be Nicktoons because Kai did well there and the ratings for that channel have been tanking ever since Kai and GT left so it'll either be them or Disney XD.

I would prefer if adult swim/toonami didn't have it that cartoon network air it. Or better yet they do un edited version on nicktoons or nickelodeon and a uncut version on Toonami Adult Swim. I feel like this would give Toei more money and not tarnish the reputation of the show like what happened with Kai how people thought it was only available edited :/.

If Toei cared about the reputation of the show Episode 5 would have never happened. LOL

But I wonder if Toei made Super without blood to make it easier to sell in more conservative countries.

So far the trend in most countries seems to be that Turner Broadcasting hold the rights to broadcast Dragonball, this is even the case in the US with Kai being on Toonami. I'm sure Nickelodeon would like to air Super but I'm not sure if Turner would give up those rights so easily with Super on the way.

I might be wrong and perhaps the Super rights are a seperate deal altogether but something tells me that isn't the case.

I REALLY hope it comes to Nicktoons. Nicktoons needs a quality high rated show to get out of the Slump (No pun intended) its in.

...But I wouldnt mind Disney XD either.

So yeah, I recently learned from Cure Dragon 255 that Henry Danger has garnered over 3 million views on Nick. Now, don't misunderstand me - I don't give a crap about this show because - Well, it's a crap show. But still, the fact that a show like that can garner this many views has me thinking: Perhaps, Dragon Ball Super could find success on Nick and really be pushed into the mainstream a bit (something Disney XD or Nicktoons could not completely accomplish due to being digital cable channels and Sean Schemmel confirmed a basic cable channel for Super). As far as I researched, Nick is currently the most successful kids channel - Largely in part to their newest hit cartoon, The Loud House (which is the highest-rated kids cartoon on television currently). I've given The Loud House a watch and have to say, I wouldn't mind if DB Super ends up on the same channel as this cartoon.

Think about it: The Loud House is a cartoon for a new generation of kids that is doing great. So, it might be a good idea for Dragon Ball Super (a new DB-show that can appeal to both old and new fans) to air on the same network as a successful new cartoon. Perhaps, Nick can even create a block of all their action series including DB Super? Or give Super its own timeslot like Legend of Korra had (even though now that I think about it, Korra ended up getting canceled because it was given a bad timeslot)? Too bad there's no new Avatar show or DB Super would soar in ratings airing with the Avatar show.

Like I said to Mecha3000 on our PM's I think its matter of whether Nick wants it everynight on Weekdays (Airing alongside The Loud House which absolutely kills it there) or Weekly on Weekends (Airing alongside Henry Danger Which does insane numbers on that day). Nick has the best ratings and some nice history with the franchise with Nicktoons.

My bad, Cure. I wanted to give you credit for the ratings discovery, but I didn't know if you wanted me to. But yeah, since you told me about the Henry Danger thing - I've begun thinking Nick might be Super's home in the U.S, which might not be a terrible thing after all. Definitely not the most ideal thing for many (Cartoon Network), but still if it brings in new fans - I'm all for it.

I really dont want to be rude, but the people who want DBS on CN are in for a bitter wake up call. They dont want action shows or anime, at all. The only anime show they have is Pokemon which airs at a god forsaken hour and scores 800K on a GOOD day. And its not just that, the channel itself is in a state of decay, sure they have nice shows like Steven Universe, but even that isnt enough to pull it through.

Also, let me show you the ratings for their highest rated shows, and keep in mind these are the shows that CN favors over everything else, DBS wouldnt be so "lucky".

November 10th
Mighy Magiswords: 1,070,000 (0.27)
We Bare Bears: 1,091,000 (0.27)
The Amazing World of Gumball: 1,071,000 (0.25)
Regular Show: 1,027,000 (0.23)

If you want it to air on CN, you might as well just go to Adult Swim. More people would see it there ironically even more children would than on Daytime CN. Adult Swim has been quite kind to DBZKai reaching 2 million at one point even!

Like others have stated on the Funimation Buu release forum, I think Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters (Buu Saga) could work exclusively on Toonami since Kai is already airing there while Dragon Ball Super airs on Nick. Then, at a later time - Dragon Ball Super can air on Toonami uncut and perhaps even the entire run of Kai can re-air on Nick someday, along with the Buu Saga. Okay, I might be getting ahead of myself - But who knows?

Well, maybe Super will air uncut on Toonami in 2020. Better than nothing, I suppose Blue Popo's return won't be too bad.

At this rate Toonami will reach Super by 2018.

Nevertheless I'm confident the uncut Funimation dub of Super will be available on Blu-Ray sometime next year.
Do you have any info about international non-English broadcasts about the Dragon Ball anime or manga translations/editions? Please message me. Researching for a future book with Dragon Ball scholar Derek Padula

Yeah they already have a products page on their Super sub page so I reckon we'll start to see listings in the spring.

That was 4Kids only. Nick and CN both have black Popo

Yeah, Blue Popo is Dead...Popo. LOL.

Also, the Dino Charge finale had a similar plot to the end of the Zamasu arc. I wont spoil it but it gives me hope that Super would get away with the ending it had.
