Hmm... I figured they'd let you slow unlock them as a means for motivation.
Now I gotta figure out what to do next. It'd been months since I touched the game. I'm sure someone in-game told me back then but I have the memory of a stone. All I keep looping through is the PQs for experience and OH NO NAMEK IS BEING ATTACKED AGAIN every few minutes.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

Well yeah, certain PQs unlock certain characters/variations, same thing with story missions.
As for the Guru quests, you can stop doing them once it starts looping (it shows mission 1 again) and it won't affect you anyway.
During the cavalcade of "other" games in tonight's Nintendo Switch presentation, they showed a DBZ game. While I can't be sure, it just looked like Xenoverse. It was just show really fast, and there was Goku and Vegeta.
When Super apparently shoves Goku down our throats:

In Z, the characters were so depended on Goku that they couldn't go an episode without mentioning him in some way even by hoping he will arrived, get better, training to get stronger, our last hope, being like him, ect. Goku was wanked to hell in Z, even when he wasn't in the room and everyone else was secondary to him. In fact, this was a major issue Goku had, which is why he didn't want to do anything in the Buu Saga.

I would be more excited for Xenoverse 2 coming to the Switch... but I've already gotten bored of the game. I haven't played it in weeks and still haven't bought the Season Pass.
The game really didn't do enough different from its predecessor for me to keep coming back to it.

All DLC will probably be out by then.

Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!
Spoiler:
Doctor. wrote:I've explained before, I'll just paraphrase myself.
Power levels establish tension and drama. People who care about them (well, people who care about them in a narrative) don't care about the big numbers or the fancy explosions. If you have character A who's so much above character B, who's the main character, you're gonna be left wondering how in the hell character B, the character we're supposed to care and root for, is going to escape the situation or overcome the odds. It makes us emotionally invested.
If character B doesn't escape the situation in a believable way that's consistent with previous events, then that emotional investment is gone. It was pointless tension, pointless drama made just to suck in the viewer. It has no critical value whatsoever. The audience is left believing that the author can just create whatever scenarios he wants and what happens to the characters is decided by whatever the author wants to happen, regardless of the events that happened in the story. Which, in fairness, is what happens, but the audience wants to be fooled. The audience wants to know that the world they're following has rules. That the world they're invested in isn't going to bend to external factors that are irrelevant to them.
An author can do whatever he wants with the characters, that's not false. But the author should also have the responsibility to make sure it fits in cohesively with the other events in the narrative he has created.
Now who knows? Maybe DBXV2 for the Switch counts for the new 2017 Dragon Ball game in Bandai's contract if Shueisha allows it. Or they do the Sparking HD Collection. If they do, add the Japanese score as an option!!

We'll have standards. We'll have quality control. We'll have better information. And I'm sure, people will naturally gravitate to it once there is some substance.
The best way to fix the giant cancer that is the DB Wiki is to provide an alternative for those who really want it. Even those who prefer dub names will wind up looking things up on the Kanzenshuu Wiki. Because sooner or later, they're going to need information they know they can trust.
