There's simply no excuse for "not paying attention" when it's a message board; you have all the time in the world to make your post. Keeping that in mind, this isn't a chat room... there's no need to make a follow-up post to a question a mere one minute later.gotenks8 wrote:So any now how to subscribe?
Thanks.
EDIT: Just noticed the "retard" post. You're gone.

Wow, Mike. If only other forums had moderators as cool as you.
I would probably bet dollars to donuts that the banninated guy was the same guy at your panel that tried to bluff his way into claiming he's seen Dragonball AF when everybody knows there is no AF. I mean, even casual fans know there's no AF!

Compared to DBZ Variety Hour? It was a LOT less fun, but still entertaining because of how ridiculous the discussion was! It was basically all question and answer - it started out ok but then it just got hilarious when the panelists made mistakes in answers and people in the audience yelled out the right ones. There was random fighting mostly because someone called Gohan a nerd and the Gohan cosplayer went psycho... and also catcalling, especially when there was a comment about Goku ripping off his shirt... LOL.Sebastian (SB) wrote:I was wondering, how was that other DBZ related panel at NEXT?
Otherwise, I noticed a lot of the same questions popped up in DBZ Variety Hour, probably because the answers in the other panel were mostly, "Uh... honestly, we couldn't tell you. It's not stated."

At least no Goten/Trunks pairing fans requested you and your sister to do odd poses. Or did they?QuantumDestiny wrote:Compared to DBZ Variety Hour? Aah no, we did those on our own XD.... No pictures, just movies involving a yaoi paddle. I wanted to re-enact that foot licking scene but Goten dropped greasy chicken on the bed.Conan the SSJ wrote: At least no Goten/Trunks pairing fans requested you and your sister to do odd poses. Yaoi paddles are not for kids >_<. Some dirty Jersey guy cracked me and Gohan on the ass with one. AnimeNEXT was...... strange.desirecampbell wrote:QuantumDestiny wrote:Aah no, we did those on our own XD.... No pictures, just movies involving a yaoi paddle. You've just given me a very odd mental image. I dunno if I'm picturing the actual Goten and Trunks filming themselves doing this, or you and your sister cosplaying doing such. I'm so confused! o.o;;QuantumDestiny wrote:Aah no, we did those on our own XD.... No pictures, just movies involving a yaoi paddle. *Conan randomly remembers a movie 11 scene where a dog licks Trunks' rear-end while Goten stands on his shoulders* "Goten, stop, you know that tickles!"
Anywho, I'll definitely be at AnimeNEXT come next year, doing my own cosplay as GT Gohan!

If even the panelists were making mistakes, that sounds pretty bad & not so entertaining to me.

It's not hard you go to the cons website find the events suggestion and say " I would like to run xxxx event here's how I do it, this is why I am qualified to run it, this is what I'd need from you." Though if you wanted to do something at Ame it's a bit too late the deadline has passed, I just got in with my voice acting/ fan dub intro panel application.JAKEMAN wrote:Man this was a fun episode, I wish that the UK conventions did stuff like you did
I really enjoyed this, I actually think it's great it wasn't just hardcore Z fans. I'm sure people learned a lot of stuff they didn't know, and hopefully it got them thinking more about the series beyond what they might have seen on TV or US Jump. From the podcast it seems that you really got the audience going that's what cons are all about!

Mike and Meri said half the fun of the panel was watching me ready to explode out of sheer cognitive dissonance between what the panelists were saying and what I knew were the right answers to the questions.Sebastian (SB) wrote:If even the panelists were making mistakes, that sound pretty bad & not so entertaining to me.

I just want to point out that this is the only bbs I've ever been to where I can expect most people to understand what that means.SaiyaJedi wrote:...cognitive dissonance ...
