I know I'm probably not supposed to do this, but...

Discussion regarding the entirety of the franchise in a general (meta) sense, including such aspects as: production, trends, merchandise, fan culture, and more.

Mayeb he thought that selling them all together wouldn't net him very much (people might be put off by Japanese-only dvds) but by selling them separately he can recoup more?

Maybe? I dunno. He probably expects there to be some serious bidding on the scouters as there's no 'buy now' option.

Then they sit in the closet doing nothing. I've probably worn the scouters about 4-5 times. I hope desirecampell enjoys the set now. :)
Oh, I will. *rubs hands menacingly* I will.

Yeah, that seems reasonable.

That's what I'm thinking too if its legit, but if he originally paid $400 for them, how could he not know?

Also, that's kind of the point of the auction, to determine how much they are worth to people by letting them bid on it for a week or two.

Oh well... actually, I think it'll be his loss.

Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

That's true....but now that he's selling the scouters seperately he's probably trying to make as much as he possibly can off them. (I don't see him making anywhere near what he spent though.)
