First of all, I just want to say that I was searching through your guys's site and I love it. It's very informative, however, and just I wanted to point out something odd, your Japanese terms are really good on your site, that is until you get to the regular Super Saiyan stage. The issue I had was that SSJ1 is not an official term. SSJ is the official term, SSj1 is a fan term to differentate between the other transformations.

Just offering a little constructive criticism, Great guides by the way, we use them as our primary references at Wikipedia.

How is it going at Wikipedia, by the way? I've been off it for months. Is the project still going?

Yeah ... I think you are being a bit picky. Do you also feel the need to correct people who refer to the first in a series of movie, games and whatnot as “Blah blah blah” 1?

Roughly, but yeah. I'm thinking about leaving for a while too. It's too much work to maintain the articles there, I completely re-did the Goku article. It's taken me about a month to do so, but I like how it came out.

...and are you rude to all people who come here and criticize the great Daizex site?
Excuse my retaliation, but with that out of the way, let's continue the discussion. It's hard to use a reference when it isn't entirely accurate, especially for Wikipedia. You apparently have never edited Wikipedia. They are anal when it comes to information that comes from references. They don't care about facts, all they care about is verifiability. Not many people own the Daizenshuus, I myself don't. I've looked for them in quite a few places too. That's why I need to rely on major Dragon Ball websites such as this one. And when the information on the site is inaccurate, I'm screwed.
I was thinking about switching the primary reference to the MFG site, but their revamped Super Saiyan guide isn't finished. The guy who runs the site is in the process of moving from California to New Zealand, so naturally, the site can't be updated for some time.

I totally see where you're coming from with that comment, since that single one breaks the consistency among all the other ones on the page. What do you suggest as an alternative? Perhaps moving the "SSJ1" down to the next line in quotes? Maybe something like:

I know you are not asking me but I´ll contribute anyways. :)

I say that is looks nice, but add another thing after the "SSJ1":

SUPER SAIYAN
(Sûpâ Saiyajin, commonly "SSJ" or "SSJ1" [Fan term])

Maybe? Just to keep apart the official and unofficial terms.

Be easy D.K.P., that was a little attempt by me to be funny. I wasn't trying to be rude and please forgive me if that was how I came across.

I never realised that term “Super Saiyan One” was a fan term. If a note of this is made, would there also be notes of other fan terms for other characters and stuff?

NO! :) You don't need to apologize.
I mis-interperated. Please accept MY apology :)

I like that idea Vegetto EX and the one that Godo suggested. That would be great. I seriously apologize for my "picky-ness" and my Comment toward Anonymous Friend.

In all fairness, is "SSJ" even official? Isn't using an acronym fanterminology to begin with? (Point being who cares if it says SSJ or SSJ1) :?

I see your point, but if you look at it, SSj1 is redundant. That's like saying the cheeseburger with cheese. It's already a cheeseburger, so why should you have to say "with cheese?"

Sorry, working in Fast Food gives me that example, it's a bad one, I know. :)

Isn't it a little inconsistent to call it a Super Sayain and then abbreviate it to SSJ?

There's an explanation at the top of the page.
The Daizenshuu EX Transformation Guide wrote:While we use the word "Saiyan," the original Japanese term is Saiya-jin (the suffix "jin" meaning a "being" or "person"; for example, a Nihon-jin is a person from Japan!). When using abbreviations, we will be using the traditional "SSJ" instead of, for example, "SS" (despite our conventions of using the spelling "Saiyan" on the site). "SS" sounds (to us, anyway) far too much like the name of a ship and/or the Nazi secret police.. and well... that's just not appropriate. Note also that the "ai" diphthong in the word should be pronounced as a long "i" as in "eye," and not a long "a" as in "day." Hope that helps!
Using "Saiyan" throughout the site has been one of my compromises with Julian for our "style guide" (which exists half in reality, and half in our minds).

Not really. It's like calling a cheeseburger a "single cheeseburger" - which makes sense when you also have 'double', 'triple', 'quadruple', 'legendary', 'second-stage', 'third-stage', and 'full-power' cheeseburgers.
