A good look at DBZ in widescreen with no footage cropped

You know, we could accomplish this widescreen thing better if the episodes were simply encoded in 4:3. Then all we have to do is screw up the settings on the TV or DVD player.

There's a point to this thread?, it seems completely pointless to me.

People know how to change the aspect ratio on their dvd players, you haven't come up with anything new, just something very ugly.

Bore I comment on this I think I should point out that if you haven't read my review for the Mexican dub exclusive DBZ DVD release, do it now.

Now that you are back and you have seen that I have mentioned in the past how I disliked Widescreen, let me tell you that I would HATE this with a flaming passion if they used this kind of footage instead of the Widescreen thing in the Mexican dub exclusives. The other rant isn't relavent to the subject here and I can't even think of what THAT might be.

The point is, that's how it'd look. I didn't figure out how to work around the cropping. All I did was take a couple of shots from the Dragon Box and readjusted them. Look, I haven't been on this baord for a while, and I didn't know that you guys knew about the whole resizing thing.

But um.. What's the point ? Even if you can make it look like DBZ was animted in widescreen,then I'd still have to ask why you'd want it in widescreen in the first place...
