Well, literally, it's "Ices", plural. Which is even more retarded.
No, it's not. "Le robot des glaces" can be translated in "The robot from the ice fields". The titles AB gave to the movies were not always smart, but this one is not too bad.

Wow, that set is soo wonderful. The artwork, the features, and everything are incredible. I mean, IMO the footage doesn't look very good and falls behind even Funi's set footage(Which I didn't find that bad) and is horrible compared to the DragonBox footage. Still with how much that set contains it makes up the footage.

(/me is thinking about how sexy it would be to combine the image from these with content of his own incoming french set :d)
I borrowed them from a buddy in Spain. Don't know how he got them, but after searching through Google Italy for a while I found this page. It's in flash, it looks pretty, it has the obligatory Super Saiyan Gogeta image from movie 12 and I can't understand anything that is in it. Enjoy!

The packaging's great, but the video quality is fugly. And I mean fifteen-times ugly, not 4 times ugly.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Except for Lord Kai, movie 3 seems to look really good.

Ah, well, I can't really speak French :P Damn you public school system!

Anyway, the sets look... alright. Not that different from Funi releases. I could grab some more dbox screens to compare, but I think at this point the difference is clear.

Just wanted to add, very late reply, but oh well... that the first box set was not remastered...
Second is made by a different group of people and will indeed be remastered. When I say new group of people, I mean for everything from video to subs.

It seems like everyone is re-releasing the movies these days.

I don't know if I'd rather have Funi release their double features in box-sets over longer periods of time or individually. I guess it won't really matter as long as they eventually sell a nice box-style case to put them all in. :?

By the way, I really like France's box art! :)

So does Italy's new DBZ series DVD's credits page! Three new releases in three different countries and they all use that image as a major part? What are the chances?

I dont understand what's so good about this release. Ok the cover is ultra kick ass and the things it comes with, but the footage just sucks for me.
