It's been a while since I've posted here, but rest assured I've still been enjoying the Podcasts since Otakon. Anyway.... I just discovered this very neat find at YouTube - an all-women jazz-style band covered "Makafushigi Adventure" and did a very fine job with it. Check it out.

I seriously doubt that a group as "pop-y" looking as them are actually playing those instruments, but if they are then all the better. An awesome take on an awesome song

They look to me like they know how to play them. Besides, the Japanese always "cutify" everything. They just dressed them up and made sure they were physically appealing is all. It's called "marketing".DaemonCorps wrote:I seriously doubt that a group as "pop-y" looking as them are actually playing those instruments, but if they are then all the better. Jerseymilk: "Can I tell you something?"
B-kun: "What?"
Jerseymilk: "I see Fangirls."

They actually only do jazz covers of anime songs (reminds me of Animetal).

Forget THAT, they covered the US Pokemon theme! First, it was Smosh.com. Could Tokyo Brass Style be the next Internet sensation?Tsukento wrote:CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA? Must get, STAT!
In all seriousness, I like the titles they've covered, and it's gonna get me to buy the band's CDs eventually!
