Mind you, this isn't the "bulk up" thing either.
The real reason is though, that in the manga they only scream for a couple of seconds, while in the anime they want to drag everything out as filler.
I don't think you remember what my posts consisted of a year or two ago.
Which was me being the biggest Manga-purist anti-Toei jackass on the entire board.

And this is three years later.
And yet he still yells for the transformations sometimes and others he doesn't. The arguments you guys are making for the 'pain' aren't consistent if you apply the logic to different scenes, no matter how you twist it. (remember, this point was made saying Goku yelled each time his arm/leg/chest got larger in the english version because it hurt him to do so)
Corey made the simplest argument... its just a kiai yell. It applies uniformly to ALL individuals that transform into a SSJ. The arguments of "pain" doesn't work half of the time
because we still have situations where they yell after they should have become accustom to the transformation.
That's why its baseless and that's why a few of you are "grasping at straws" to keep your argument alive. In order to add another valid point, it must strengthen your argument, but at the same time show us why ours is wrong!

I'm only arguing for this one specific time. I blame the heart disease.

Yes. Because one actor out of many countries decided to stress every muscle expanding in size. Just like they stress any sort of sounds made while fighting, are never silent, etc.

Well,
obviously it's a dubbing oddity. But it's more fun to find an in-universe explanation.

I come from the Phantasy Star fandom, where idiots tried to explain a translation error (a character who appears in 3 of the 4 original games was named something different in the localization of the first game, then translated properly for the other 2) by saying the same person
wasn't the same person. In-universe explanations suck sometimes

Yeah, I know. My point was not to bash the anime, just to say something logical.
But yeah, going by the anime itself, it makes sense.

Das Deutsch ist mein Liebling.
It's voices seemed natural sounding, excluding the yelling.
Hungarian Piccolo scares me, he sounds like the Cookie Monster after a rough night.
(Yes, I know my German grammar is often slightly off.)

LOL
Seriously, in my opinion German is a pretty difficult language. Especially with all the dialects. Also, the retarded politicians often change the spelling of some words.
Back to the topic:
Don't be deceived.
The German dub is da sh17!
Most of the voices are far away from the Japanese version, the script is complete bullshit and the acting often sucks. Wow...it could be from FUNimation.

Okay, maybe way off? I'm still learning. Not trying that again...

Actually, after looking at more from Germany I changed my mind, it's not great. Okay sometimes, though. A lot like the English version, really.

I always thought that the cantonese dub was really well done. It had stayed close to the original content, as well as staying 'fun' with it as well. But my opinions are all bias =P, they voices don't really sync up well with the character's lip movements, but I always enjoyed the voices.

I've always disliked strongly the Cantonese dub...

Seeing as to how every other dub used the original music, I think we can pretty much tell that Funi's quote about not being able to acquire the music rights is a bunch of crap. If some little Portuguese dubbing company can get the rights for the music from Toei, I think Funimation can.
I'm caught in a dream, Sometimes it ain't what it seems....

I like FUNi's music better.

Mhm...yeah. After all those positive comments about the Cantonese dub, I'm pretty disappointed.
Sure you can hardly say the dub is bad after a few clips, but...I don't know. I've expected some better stuff.
