I know you guys said that you won't use Skype to record, but since this is offered:

You have LESS THAN 24 HOURS to download this (it's part of that giveaway thingy, and I don't know if they'll still let you install the file after the 24 hours are up). Just install the program and it should auto activate for the full version.

Site's legit. I've gotten a program or two off of it before.

Surprisingly very little modification was done.

I tried to come up with a voice I liked for Kaio-Sama, but I just couldn't do it, I mean, I can do a lot of voices, but none that sound anything like him.

Cool. That sounds pretty good. Shenlong needs to be REALLY deep, though. I'll fiddle with it a little more and see what I come up with.

I got it sounding better by lowering the pitch. The echo that's already on there is making it sound a bit weird, though.

Now that I'm all back up and running, and settled into the new semester, I'm trying to get my self up to date and reorganized. I need to figure out just what needs doing so I can get the project back up and running again...

Hey guys I don't know if you've started production but it sounds like you're having trouble with the SFX and BGM.

If you take the original audio track, save it as a .wav, and put it through an Audio recorder called GoldWave. There's an option to reduce the vocals to non-existent leaving only the BGM an the SFX.

Again, I don't know if you've started but that would help.

Awesome suggestion. Although, Kaboom and Steven are kinda intent with making an original music track for what'll be out on the net. And on that note, how Steven actually finds the movie 3 FUNi reredub music good, I'll never understand. It's so damn random and rushed...it's even louder than the VAs at one point, making it impossible to hear some discussing between the villains in a scene inside the tree. Nathan Johnson just equals the plague of anime music, yes, even more-so than Mark Menza.

We're still without a Kaio or Shenlong? So far, Swift and Kaio have both submitted samples for the latter. Both sound good to me; which of the two do you guys think should get it? Here, I'll reupload both...

Both are pretty good, and we should just get one of these two guys picked for it. That leaves us with King Kai. Please guys, see what you can do. Heck, even I'm gonna practice a bit and give it a try. Desire, even if you don't like them, I'd like to hear your voice samples, too. Ya never know.

Kino, how did those inconsistencies and problems in the script turn out? Did we end up with a solution to the "does Gohan recognize Tullece as a Saiyan" thing? I think we should just stick to what he originally said, if that wasn't already the conclusion reached.

Acid, I'm sorry, man, cause I know you've done a lot and have put a lot of time into it, but we REALLY can't wait anymore for the KEVRG. We need to start recording, and pretty much NOW. Before we lose anyone else. Unless you can have it done within, like, two days, we're going to have to call it quits for that. Just take a few minutes to record a line, any line, from the script, which I have a direct download link to in my signature. I need to have myself a list of who I'm going to need to work with, and how closely, for when we record. Both in terms of voice coaching and cleaning up audio. So please, please, PLEASE, try to do that! I will try to get PMs and/or e-mails out to remind you guys, as well.

Now for my last concern. I guess it goes to Kino again. Who were the two VAs whom we haven't heard from on the forum for a while? future_trunks was one, I believe, but I can't place who the other one was.

What movie is being done and what roles are left? I'd love to at least attempt to audition, I'd probably stink, but meh.

They're doing movie 3, better known to some as "Tree of Might."

Hey, dude, yeah—my bad completely. I've been getting caught up in all kinds of shit, from school to work to just day-to-day life. I guess I figured that, with your computer on the fritz, and the lulls in activity concerning the project in general, it could go on hold for a bit. In fact I actually expected you guys to continue on without it. Sorry if I didn't go on record as saying that, but I did mention twice that those with the DVD would probably be fine.

So my question then, is: how many people actually need it in order to record? What are the alternatives, and would they be more or less manageable than actually having the KEVRG on-hand?

Feel free to send me PMs or YIMs or e-mails to keep in touch.

Oh gee, maybe it has something to do with the fact that we all have busy schedules with school, jobs, and not much free time? For what it's worth, I'll try getting some practice recordings done later today, though I'll have to use my cruddy monitor mic (damn Buffy the Vampire Slayer DVD sets have been distracting my wallet). Take a chill pill, Steven; I personally won't be surprised if we're still in "production" past Christmas.

Yes, and it was very nice.

But what I was saying is that we just need to settle on one, two, or MAYBE three solid, final designs in total. There's been a bunch that are either new or reworked versions of older ones and stuff. We need to decide on just a couple.

Yeah, I completely understand. I've been just as busy as everyone else (which is why Xyex's fanart requests and Chapter 7 of my fanfic aren't done yet, either... -_-;;). But when I ask for voice samples, I'm not asking for anything big or extravagant. Just pick a line or two from the script, record them quickly but as best you can, and post them. 15 minutes. Like I've said, the purpose is so that I can just refamiliarize myself with everyone's voices and who's going to need more coaching than who in whatever.

I've been meaning to make up and send out PMs/e-mails, but I hevn't gotten the time to sit down and write them out...

Hey, I've spoken a few times here but just wondering, what sort of voice are you looking for?

Because, depending on what you're going for, I might be fair for one of these roles, as I speak with an English accent with clear diction and can be quite deep which could be suitable for the role of either Shenron or Kaio if you're going for the more "king-like" voice, as opposed to Schemmel's voice for Kaio, etc.

I sent mine out a while ago, but I'm glad to know the project's still moving. I don't mind if we're still working at it after xmas. If anything deadline-wise, I hope we finish before that rumored live action movie does.
