OK, here's page three.

First Panel
Child of the demon clan that I was, I grew in the blink of an eye. I suppose it may seem unbelievable, but in only the space of a year my body was close to that of an adult. That for sure was proof that I was a child of the demon clan, but during that time if any foolish humans had asked me my age and I had replied “One year old”, they would have certainly had a great laugh.

It wasn’t only my body that grew. My power and finesse increased as well. And this was no ordinary power-up. Not a minor thing like a doubling or tripling. To that extent, it felt like my body’s volume along was doubled. I wanted to fight Son Goku as soon as possible.

Second Panel
However, that chance wasn’t permitted me. For two years I focused on nothing but training. Son Goku’s form would drift into my mind, as if to incite me, only to disappear. At that illusion, the fires of hatred and revenge would flare up all the more, until I became able to smash even a mountain, or reverse the flow of a waterfall. There came a time when I realized that my power now greatly surpassed that of my father, Piccolo Daimao.

Fourth panel
And then three years had passed. Having acquired numerous techniques, long-awaited news reached my ears. The Tenkaichi Budokai!! Son Goku would also be participating. Fuhhahaha…I’ve thought of an interesting idea.

I’ll enter the Tenkaichi Budokai, and then in front of all his friends and the crowd I’ll smash Son Goku until not even a trace is left. With this I’ll have the best stage for my revenge!

Here's page 4. In the original Piccole explains how 'Junior'=son, but I left this out because I think all English readers will already know that.

First panel
In the rain, I stood in the tournament registration line. “Is Son Goku in there?” I thought. I looked around, but there was no one who looked like him to be found. Every last one of them did indeed have the appearance of a martial artist, but there was nobody who looked capable of being my opponent. Nothing more than garbage.

“Your name?” the registrar asked me, and I instantly cut off my answer.

There was no way I could answer “Piccolo Daimao”. It was clear that this would cause a panic. At any rate, for humans the name of Piccolo Daimao was a byword for fear and destruction.

Second panel
“My name is Ma Junior” I answered promptly, using the name I had thought up. Ma Junior, because I am the son of the demon clan. A fairly brilliant name, considering the circumstances. Mhahahaha…

Third panel
He’s here!! That guy is Son Goku!! I first met Son Goku at the preliminary round hall. However, he was completely different from the image of Son Goku that had continued to provoke me during those three years. Not even a fragment of that monster. Somehow or other, his entire body gave off fighting spirit, yet he was still gentle and calm. My father was defeated by this sort of guy? No matter how I looked at it, it was unbelievable. To put it plainly, it was a little bit of a disappointment. However, in the instant when my eyes met his, shivers ran through my entire body. It was the first time since I was born that I had such an experience. He was no ordinary person! It seems that he perceived how I was the reincarnation of Piccolo Daimao.

Page 5. In the last panel, where Piccolo says that Goku robbed him of his fate, the sentence starts out "二代にわたって", and I've been completely unable to figure out what that's supposed to mean. So I kinda sorta left it out...anyone know?

First Panel
I easily advanced through the preliminaries, and just as I had planned I ended up fighting Son Goku in the final round. As the audience held their breath, the battle began. I understood the true nature of the image that I had harbored for three years. That image had been of the phenomenal power that lay dormant within his body. My spirit soon felt his extraordinary strength. Of course, I eventually learned that this was the characteristic strength of the Saiyans, the universe’s strongest warriors, but that wasn’t until long afterwards. I managed to take the upper hand in the battle.

Second panel
Son Goku’s power was truly uncommon. Even so, from the opening phase of the battle until the middle, my overwhelming superiority didn’t change. However, and even now it irritates me to recall this, I fell for his trick and he managed to successfully retrieve Kami, who had been trapped in a bottle by my reverse-Mafuuba. From that point, the tide of the battle quickly began to turn in his favor. Once it had come to this, I already had no hand to play. At the end of the fierce battle, I was fated to lose. It was a complete defeat.

Third panel
It was only a matter of time before I came to the same fate as my father Piccolo Daimao. But Son Goku robbed me of that fate. My tattered body was thrown to the ground, and I no longer had even the strength to stand. At that time, he fed me a senzu, saving my life! What sort of person is he, this man called Son Goku?!

I left, having been completely beaten, and continued to think as my wounds healed.

You’re full of it…Are you trying to show me sympathy?...You’re completely full of it…are you saying it’s no problem even if I’m resurrected a second time? What the hell are you thinking, Son Goku? “Fool” is the only word for you.

I’m no fangless tiger!! You may have intended to show me sympathy, but all you’ve done is fuel my anger. As soon as my desire for revenge flares up again, I’ll begin to train.

First panel, left side
Son Goku has become my arch-nemesis. Until I show him that it was only by chance our battle ended in my defeat, I cannot be at peace!! I must make him regret how foolish he was to give me that senzu!!

Second panel
Fate is a deeply mysterious thing. For I am now training the son of Son Goku, my arch-nemesis…Not even I really understand why it was I felt like doing this. In order to defeat that Saiyan, I ended up killing Son Goku with my own hand. In the five years since I was defeated by him, I have endeavored only to train towards taking down Son Goku.

However, the way he died wasn’t what I wanted. Things still aren’t settled between us. Until he comes back to life, I must protect this Earth from the evil hands of the Saiyans. Unless I train the Saiyan-blooded Son Gohan to the point where he can fight alongside me, I have no chance of winning. Since this was the fate given to me, I must face it head on. In the name of Piccolo Daimao!!

I think the only way is to hunt on places like E-bay or Celga. And it'll probably be expensive. I remember that back in the Tales from the Daizenshuu thread, Chibi Mystic Gohan managed to find a few for sale, but he didn't buy any because he didn't like the prices.

No, my college doesn't offer that major, although I did consider it.

desirecampbell: I remembered that Toriyama Boss actually already translated those two pages from Daizenshuu 5 on the Outside Stories in the Tales from the Daizenshuu thread. I'll spot-check it then post it here (I love it when people do my work for me several months in advance).

Some random notes on the story and my translation: Just to be clear, Piccolo does not refer to Kami as "Kami-sama" in the original. It's not that I didn't want honorifics in the English translation; Piccolo is just too rude at this point to add them on, even when talking about God.

I was a little confused at first about what Piccolo meant by "it's no problem even if I'm resurrected a second time", on the last page when he's sort of talking to Goku in his mind, but then I realized that he's talking about Goku reviving him with that senzu. It's just a little unusual because the verb used, yomigaeru, generally means to revive from the dead.
