Yes, this would be the kind of crap that happens when people listen to the "fans".

We're going to have to put up with your unending cavalcade of bitterness for the next...however many years this game lasts, aren't we?
Hey, I entirely forgot I had an account here. AGAIN.

lol,

I just hope Donny Clay is fired before there's a US press release (I guess thats more of an "if" at this point), I don't want to have to watch his chins wobble while he pretends he actually had something to do with the game's development.

Bibidi needed something to base Buu on. I'm cirtain there will be things Buu can do that normal Majin's cannot, maybe turning creatures into snacks is exclusive to Buu.

I've personally considered the possibility of a planet of creatures similar to Buu. It seems like my theory was more accurate that I expected, I wonder if they share a planet with Bibidi's species because that was also part of my theory.

Majin Boo's origin was always more magical in nature than something as simple as "A planet of Majins" I like the idea of Bibidi having failed creations of sort, ones that didn't turn out to be the killers that he wanted.

However, it's probably more likely that Mr. Boo got lonely and started creating some friends.

It's an interesting trailer, to be honest my first thought were,
"It looks remarkably similar to WoW"
BUT, I'm ok with that.
No doubt I'm going to play, the only concern i have is how are they going to work out 'races'.
Hopefully i haven't missed someones post explaining this, becasue, then i would feel like a moron. *cough*
ANYWAY.
Saiyajin's are obviously more powerful than humans.
Humans can never be as strong as androids or alien races such as freeza.
They might all be the same with just customisable features?
I'm ANXIOUS!

There are no (playable) Saiyans. Or Androids, at this point. Only Human, Namekian, and Majin. It was stated way back in one of the first articles that Saiyan wouldn't be playable because they're too strong and it doesn't fit in with Toriyama's mythology.

Anyway, from what I can make out from http://www.gamemeca.com/online/preview_ ... =gm0003519 with the aid of Google...

Humans begin on Earth, naturally, and have access to professions including Dancer, Occultist, and Engineer. They're able to use technology such as firearms, especially Engineers.

Namekians begin on Namek, and are sent to Earth, though we already knew that. There is no gender distinction for their race, due to how they reproduce. They are able to become warriors (like Piccolo), or healers (like Dende). I also notice in the screenshots that they seem to have developed some physical characterstics while living on New Namek, such as a larger variety of skin colors (including blue), cranial shapes (including butt-faces and horns), and antenna styles (including swept-back).

Majin, from what I can tell, are completely innocent and well-liked, and can often be found working in places like restaurants and theme parks. My guess is that they're all descendants of Mr. Boo... Maybe after Mr. Satan died, he gathered the Dragon Balls and wished there were more creatures like himself? Just a theory. I'm sure Toriyama detailed the reasons in his backstory.

From the trailer, you can see what appear to be Yardratians, which I suppose are used to teleport your character around the world. Worth noting that they look nothing like the ones briefly seen in the anime. I guess they're disregarding more from the anime than just GT.

Another thing worth noting is that the history book the character is reading from seems to detail lots and lots of events, it's too bad it goes by so quickly. I noticed a page featuring a Yardratian (?), one page mentioning Lanch, and one of the last pages mentions a "gulf in time" and has Time Patrol Trunks.

Well, this will certainly be interesting. With how incredibly involved Toriyama is (seriously, compiling character designs for the last five years?), I'm really looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

Finally, some good news from this thing.

There's also a page with "Pilafu" Wonder what that could be about!

Here's all that I could make out from that history book:

770 Lanch

780 Pilafu and picture of Karin

7?? Mr. Boo

988 Kinoko Rocks “suffered the massacre” (Kinoko=mushroom; it seems to refer to the giant mushroom filled area near Pilaf's castle)

1000 the Guard of the Time Trunks
A gulf of the time
Kanzenshuu: Is that place still around?
Sometimes, I tweet things
We might, if they screamed all the time, for no good reason.

I was able to make some slight clarifications for the "jobs" or "classes" or "professions" (or whatever you want to call them) that the races will have... I don't know Korean, and it's a lot harder to find a decent online dictionary, but I've made some headway. It also helps that some of the character names in the screenshots (HFI, HMY) seem to reflect their class/race combinations.

Human will have Fighter, Mystic, and Engineer.

Namekian will have Warrior (Fighter?) and Clansman (Sage?). I'm not too sure on the translation for the second, but the hangul apparantly means "family", so I've gotta assume it's referring to the two major castes in Namekian society, I suppose, being the warriors and the Dragon Clan-types like Dende. I know that, in terms of roles, the first is definitely a fighter, while the second is like a healer/support class.

Majin will have... Good and Evil? I'm not sure, as far as I can tell, those Korean characters aren't actually being used for their meanings, but rather pronunciations. I think the later is pronounced like demon.

Let's see what other interesting tidbits we can spot in these screen shots...

I spy Red Ribbon (Or is it R P?) badies that look similar to Android 19 (possible tiny next-gen Androids?), the Tenkaichi Budokai arena, a shrine in which the seven dragonballs are placed followed by a shot of Shenron being summoned, a Freeza-style spaceship and Freeza-style armored enemies, and a new sort of time machine that operates using apparently stationary portals.

As for the little monsters you fight, in addition to the giant t-rex, there's little teddy bear guys with broomsticks, a giant Namekian Toad, an Oolong-looking pig with a boomerang, demonic looking kangaroos, the aforementioned Freeze-style armored badies and (possible) tiny androids, and a Cheetah-guy in hot pants...
I notice a lot of these badies are wearing a Red Ribbon looking icon with 'R P' instead of 'R R'...

And a few interesting locations are emphasized on the provided map, including the Tenkaichi Arena, of course... but also RR's Muscle Tower, Gyumao's flaming castle, Pilaf's castle, Uranai Baba's temple, and of course Kame-sen'nin's island.

As for my opinion, I was surprised they were offering a wide selection of guns to use in the game... but I suppose if they're giving you the chance to craft a Bulma-esque character, they'd have their place. I suppose the other fighters are going to have to settle on those gauntlet-looking items and staves.
I particularly enjoy the screen shot of a Namekian character wearing Piccolo's trademark cloak and firing Makankosappo.

I'm glad details are finally coming out, and I'm hoping that 'Majin' female doesn't bloat out like the Majin Male when she becomes an adult... :o

I'm hopiong that eventually there will be some way to play as a saiyan, really, they're way too cool to keep us from.
But I fail to see how it would work, including history and power.
If it's stated that the game will begin without Saiyans, does that mean we will be forever without them?
I'm asking rhetorical questions again.
*sigh*
Never the less, Still anxious!

What! Am I the only one who thinks this is stupid. Namekians can be a strong as a saiyan look at Piccolo and Saiyans are not allowed due to strength yet they have Majins and look how powerful Buu became.

That's like saying "knifes are not allowed in the new gta game because knifes are violent weapons." Yet they turn around and keep chainsaws and guns.

They're keeping Saiyans out (for now?) for the same reason they first kept Jedi nearly unobtainable in Star Wars Galaxies. Because EVERYONE would play as them and completely ignore the other classes.

As for an "in-universe" explanation: Namekians, and apparently Majins, can reproduce asexually. They don't need other members of their race to keep the bloodline pure. Saiyans would. If all the Saiyans had to mate with for all these years were normal humans, there wouldn't be any Saiyans anywhere near pure-blooded still around. In fact, maybe humans in this game are naturally strong enough to keep up with Namekians and Majins because such a large percentage of them do have trace amounts of Saiyan ancestry.

I think it could be majin with soul and without soul.
With soul player's Buu is like Mr.Buu but without soul player's Buu is like kid Buu. Could it be?

I really love the look of this game. To me, the graphics look like a 3-d Chrono trigger or something.

It does seem to be RP. The Red Pants Army, an entire army wearing red underpants, it seems.
